I have a pair of Mania's and I just got done practicing in the rain with them. Should I buy some leather food to keep the material in good fit. What do you guys do with your kangeroo boots?

Thanks

i have some boot brew i use.... cleaner and conditioner...then i use a hard polish not the creme kind

take your insoles out, and let them dry away from direct heat etc.

If you want to get your boots really soft and supple, use scentless moisturising cream it really softens them up and a day before a game use dubbin to coat them.

i advise against dubbin, it clogs the pores of your boots and you could end up with a rotting boot...and on top of that it's messy and smells terrible

It seems as if i should purchase some cleaner and conditioner and hard polish.
But this doesn't matter the color of the boot does it? I would figure that it would change the color, but its a cream so nothing should happen. Should it? I have some red mania's.

Thanks

Yeah. Cream coloured lotion should be okay for all different boots. They are called 'Neutral' if I remember correctly

I never used any kind of dubbing or leather food on my mania's when i wore them. I used to just clean them and let them dry naturally. And if the fronts were slightly scuffed i'd put some cream polish on them. But that was it. I personally dont like dubbing or anytihng that makes your boots greasy.

Mine were fine without anything like that. They didnt split and they still look like new!

I just leave mine in a dirty smelly quiksilver bag. It works great
