Ive got a gut feeling C.Republic will do really well, and have had speculative bets on them facing either Holland or England in the final at odds of 40/1 and 50/1 respectively.
Dont fancy either of em but i always back my long odds hunches. Loosing 10 quid aint gonna even be noticed - realising you saw it comming always hurts when you dont go with it :)
After last night you may have a good bet. Obviously the best attacking team so far and perhaps the best.

If the Czechs can steer clear of injuries and suspensions, they will be tough to beat. France is going to be tough, but I just do not see them winning it. I would love to see a France-Czech Republic semifinal.

The czech republic will win.Any team that can come from 2-o down shows the determination and fighting spirit of a good side. They have a very good team and have one of the best Pavel Nedved, along with Karel Poborsky they are the players that are looked up to.Milan Baros is having a fantastic tournament and I hope he continues like this with Liverpool.Peter Cech there goal keeper has played well also. The save he made to deny Andy Van Der Meyde was brilliant consedering his height.Czech all the way

The Czechs are quite strong (probably stronger than NL atm) but I think people think too much of this game without taking a few very important things in account, like the Dutch team giving the 2-1 away on a silver plate just before HT, the Robben substitution, Heitinga's sending off, and the fact that NL let themselves fall back after that substitution (and even more so after the sending off). Without these mistakes I doubt it would have been 2-3.
Nevertheless, they're a very big contender and of course every Dutchman's second team :D

i agree with the statement that whoever shows effort and motivation will win, but i am not convinced that czech will win. i was a germany fan (am half german), but they are out, so i chose to hold on to england. now they are out. i am for the home team portugal. i think that with super talents like figo, c ronaldo, and rui costa, they can win this if they really want to.
good luck to portugal!!!! :D

I wouldn't put my money on Czech. What are their chances of coming back from 2 goals down against France,Portugal, or one of the Scandinavian teams?

The Czech Republic has looked better than any other team in the tournament so far. I would say Portugal has looked second best after their performance against England yesterday. France only played well at the end of their game against Switzerland, and they're tied 0-0 with Greece right now.
ZANI, the Czechs came back from 2 down against Holland so I wouldn't put money against them doing it against the teams you named. And to come back from two down the other team needs to get a two goal lead, something I doubt the Czechs will let happen again.

the Czechs will go all the way, they'll handle Denmark in the 1/4, they'll get past France in the semi, and then they'll beat whoeva comes across them in the final!

Too bad Iceland didn't qualify. They may have gone far the way things are turning out. ;)

Tks rizzyleigh. As a portuguese fan I agree with you.
For me Portugal is the favorite n.º 1 now.
After we send Spain and England back home I think we deserv the favoritism.
Like the song... FORÇA PORTUGALLLLL :D
