Ribery didn't start vs 2 very important qualifiers, this proves that he's not fit. No point to risk him when 3 days later we play in a much more important Champions League match. If we are losing by half-time, put Ribery on at half-time. If we are tied or leading, we can put him the last 30 or if he's in a bad state, the last 20 minutes. As much as I would love to watch Ribery and Robben play together for 90 minutes, we need to make sure they are both fit so they don't get injured for coming back too early (ex. Ribery in Bremen match).
Muller has been used as an AM, he or Baumjohann to fight it out basically. I'd give Muller one more chance, but it's up to the coach.
The defense stayed the same as the one vs Wolfsburg, kept a clean sheet vs the Bundesliga champs so all 5 deserve to start together. Same with SchweinTymo for similar reasons.
Gomez is scoring, almost every game and 3 of his 4 goals have been 1-0, which is very important. This is similar to Toni 2 seasons ago, Gomez opens the account, teams start to attack us, and ROBBERY get to ass-rape them on the counters. If the team stays fit, this will become the norm through-out the season.
Robben can play on the left or right, he played 1 half last weekend and around 75' this week, so he should be fit to start the game.
The RW spot could go to many players, Olic, Klose or Muller. Considering Olic was replaced at HT by Crotia when they got destroyed and Klose was especially good 2nd half even though vs crap opposition, it shows he knows where the goal is. Let the man start now, even if it's not in his best position his pace, dribbling and passing should posse enough pain for Dortmund for at least 45-75 minutes.
Though I would love if we were to lead by 60th minute, rest Gomez and put Klose from RW to ST and Ribery on the wing so he's rested for CL. I'd also prefer if Lahm could be rested for 30 if not a half if we are leading. Altintop could play RB, he could use the game time. Lahm and Gomez in particular have been overplayed too much if you consider NT games and starting all Bundesliga/DFB games.

General agreement Equilibrium except on starting Klose. Looking good against 10 men Azercrap means nothing to me. He has looked hopeless so far this year. Olic has been excellent. Olic is better on the wing than Klose. Olic for sure. If Klose is starting to me it would be at AM in place of Mueller, but I would not consider that a valid option either.

At the moment i think this will be the most balanced team before reverting to 4-3-3 once Ribery starts!

I hope one day to see LvG deploy this system
---------------Gomez----------------
----Ribery----------------Robben----
-------Bommel-------Schweisni---------
---------------Tymo-----------------
Pranjic-------------------------Lahm
--------Badstuber--Buyten----------
----------------Butt------------------
I believe this is the most stable formation for us, strong in all deparments. Bommel, Schwesni, Tymo are all strong in defense which should stabilize our defending system. For years, Bommel and Schwesni have played in DM or L/R wingers, and that doesn't allow them freedom in midfield and use their long range shoot to good use. This way we'll have more options in attack.
Also, put Ribery and robben there, allowing them play close to each other will make our counter attack deathly dangerous.
When we need to score more than defending, switch to Equilibrium's system:o
Subs: Klose for Gomez, Olic for ribery, Mueller for Robben
Sosa/Baumjohann for Bommel / Schweisni
Bommel for Tymo
...
Just no hope for: toni, lell, ottl, i think they should leave.

Yea, that is the formation people expect when everyone is healthy, although with Demichelis swapped for Van Barften.

FC Bayern München: Butt - Lahm, van Buyten, Badstuber, Pranjic - Altintop, Tymoshchuk, Schweinsteiger - Robben, Gomez, Ribery (Olic)[/b]
FC Bayern Substitutes: Rensing - Braafheid, Ribery, Breno, Ottl, Klose, Baumjohann, Sosa, Müller, Lell
Thanks FF1! Nice job....
I think if Ribery is not 100% fit, then Olic starts or even Mueller.
Substitutions barring injuries during match to me would be Ailtontop out for Mueller, Olic out of Ribery, and can't think of the 3rd.
2nd half should be more entertaining then the first is Franck is held out until then.

Klose staying home in Munchen to go through one week of fitness training. He will be unavailable for Dortmund match as well as CL. LvG and Klose talked and the player voiced a concern over his fitness. He knows he is not 100%.
Easy one there for both parties because he probably would not have started. Klose is able to save face and LvG does not have to explain why he is not in starting 11.

Van Gaal’s 18-man squad will be picked from a pool of 20 fit players. Miro Klose is taking a week out to work on his fitness, while Mark van Bommel, Martin Demichelis, Andreas Görlitz and Luca Toni are all injured. Toni, who trained with the squad for the first time on Thursday after a stubborn Achilles problem, still needed time to recover his form, “but it’s looking good,” Van Gaal reported.
