It can be anything from the players to the fans to the commentary on TV / Radio.
I'd have to say the new school hockey like catchers masks which are atrocious.
Oh, and the Arizona Diamondbacks home unis, which are probably the ugliest in the history of organized sports.

Interleague play.
"Mall-parks".
The "ping" of the bat in the college game.
No big-leaguers in the olympics.
"Small-market" whiners from cities like San Diego, Oakland and Chicago.
That Johnny Damon cut his hair.
The TV-only behind home plate ads.
Seven... and that was a stretch. Other than that, the game is perfect. :D

Boring delays are another problem. I'd like to see a couple rule changes. For example, limiting the number of times a pitcher than throw to 1b (third time is an automatic stolen base). I'd also like to see walks advance all runners.
The ridiculous salaries are another problem. I was talking to an old friend after the Red Sox blew it again last year, "It happened again!" As the conversation went on we speculated about whether we would live to see the RS win a Series. Then he said, "I guess their millionaires beat our millionaires."

Since you turned your back on the city, the Padres are tied in first, are on pace to have 3 millions fans for attendance this season and have the national media considering the Padres and its fans the best in the NL West and the ones to win the division. Kind of ironic, isn't it.

Witty Retort #1: Sure I've left America's Finest City, but I still have Hacksaw ringing in my ears. That's enough small-market whining for all of SoCal.
WR #2: Look up. It's cloudy until 2pm. That means the Padres are looking good. Call me at the all-star break. I'm going to try to get down to Petco in August, when the Padres are back under .500, and I can walk-up to the gate and buy a ticket.
And yes, Padres fans are whiny. 1998 ring a bell?

Ehhh...c'mon now. You guys finally get a better than decent team and beautiful new stadium, and the combination of the two is attracting alot of people (like it should). Let's not start acting like San Diego is a baseball mecca or anything.
Come back with that argument when the new stadium buzz wears off and the team shows whether or not they can keep playing on a high level.

How does that affect you?
And before you say because it makes ticket prices, food, and beer at the stadium more expensive, remember that though the actual prices are higher than they were twenty years ago, the proportion to the same products sold outside of baseball have barely if at all increased in that time. It's inflation that has led to that, not salaries.
Also remember that for every ten million a player makes, you can bet your sweet ass that the owner is making at least eleven off of him.

Possibly the most annoying little thing about baseball is a play tried maybe once a game that never ever works. You know what I am talking about.
The fake pickoff throw to third and spin and throw to first pickoff play. WTF? Any time i see a pitcher do that it drives me nuts. In the words of a fine little basbeball zine Leftfield, any pitcher guilty of that infraction should be forced to eat second base.

Wow.
What a horrible idea. If you take away the pitcher's ability to hold a runner on base, every baserunner will be an automatic stolen base.

couldn't agree more. just look at joe kerrigan telling phillies pitchers to ignore runners on first. thats the reason the marlins blitzed by them for the wild card last year.

As a general rule, posters should delete the first sentence of any post before clicking "submit" (see?).
I'm not taking away a pitcher's ability to hold a runner, just forcing him to be more judicious in going to first base.
