I am curious. On the ESPN soccernet website it lists David James as wearing the #13. I always thought that James was partial to the #1 jersey as it usually denotes the starter.

Has James been demoted to the #2 slot? Is he no longer the starter? I would find this hard to believe.

Does anyone have any insight into this?

James will start for sure. It seems to be that squad numbers don't normally fit with where you play, but starting keepers do normally have the No 1 jersey. Maybe ESPN got it wrong, we will see on Sunday.
