Hines looks good but then Sears was ripping up the reserve league last year wasn't he?
Now you've got me all positive... What makes you say Diamanti is mustard? Tell us what you heard/know? I'm excited again.

Diamanti scored two goals, played some excellent football, received a standing ovation when he left the pitch,i'm excited to see him in the first team:p

Diamanti took two free kicks and scored them both. You can see them on the OS home page.
I listened to some of the commentary last night and Cottee and that other bloke couldn't sing West Ham's praises enough. Diamanti, Hines, Behrami and Edgar all got alot said about them. Even N'Gala did after he scored a rare goal.
Things suddenly seem alot more positive but I think we are right not to rush Hines into the first team.

My brother called me after the game. 'Don't worry' he said. They were great. 'The Diamond will set the PL alight; and if you liked PdC, you'll love this guy. He oozes class' How long since we had a free kick specialist? Martin Peters wasn't it?
He also praised Hines and Behrami. the latter was galloping around like Arkle (for those that remember him) and seemed to love every minute on the pitch.
I know that Brum reserves are not exactly PL standard, but neither were half of our players. Also got good comments about the new kid at right back.
Oh happy days may well be coming. Long live the project.:D
