Stoke once played in Cleveland in pre season competition

Theres hardly any of you guys over here in Burslem, so how can you be there in Texas, what are you doing there? lol

That's why our crowds have been so thin of late. We all got so fed up of Billy bell, we emigrated.

I married a Texan and being here beats Burslem every day except match day. ;)

Just for your persistance I can see myself changing! atleast you made me smile.

How can you remember Stoke playing in Cleveland that must have been the 70's I can only find one old picture of the team standing outside a very American looking bus, all smiling and sunburnt.
We have a cleveland in the Uk don't think it was that one you are on about though.

Good point E & P, but at least we don't use that or any other great occasion as a means of pretending we're a "big club". :) The playing field is a lot more level these days, despite the fact we're a division apart for now. I still find it surprising how loyal Stoke fans remain, however. The gates they get are a credit to that.
