Close Season Arsenal Fan Concert

Just wanted to let you know that Arsenal fan Dido delivered a performance much like TH14 and the 2003-2004 Arsenal squad Saturday night in Chicago. Championship level all the way. She was tremendous and she has assembled a great band.

There were no chants for Ray Parlour during the show but I did see a few Arsenal shirts in the crowd, including mine. Which, inspired some footy talk in the hallway of the theater: Arsenal's season, summer signing possibilities, Euro 2004, and if TH14 is the #1 player in the world.

A good time, if you have a little time for her.

Did she mention Arsenal at all? Probably not is my guess since she assumed an American audience wouldn't know. But it would have been nice if she had.

The New York City Gunners should figure some way of inviting her to watch England-France with them at the pay per view location. She's in NYC on Sunday night so I'm sure she'll be looking to watch the match somewhere. Maybe leave word at the concert venue?

I have to work during that match :( is anyone willing to tape it for me? Ill pay for shipping or Im thinking about going into the city Monday.

Both Dido's CDs feature a red & white colour scheme. She should do a live one and release it with yellow and blue packaging.
