5. Arjen Robben - gifted winger who plays on the left is fast clever and uses his head . Going to Chelsea from PSV this summer. Good young player but certainly not a favourite in my book. ( snubbed man u ! )

4. Critiano Ronaldo - absolute magician when with the ball has murtured alot since coming to man u. Has the ability to become one of the best in years to come. (also playing today)

3. Wesley Sneijder - one of the best younng players at Ajax. Absolutely tremendous for his age. Was a big part in Ajax winning the dutch laegue this season.

2. Fernando Torres - a valuable asset to athletco madrid. he is the captain of the team . He is one of my favourite young players and man u are constantly pytting in bids for him.

1. Freddy Adu - the best young player inthe world at 14 years old. AC Milan wanted this guy at 9 years old!! and to think this guy is only 1 year older than me.

No offense to those who like Adu. But why people often think of Adu as such a quality player when he has not played in one of Europe's top leagues or with the USMNT.

I know MU were supposedly interested in Adu but the way he plays in MLS has not surprised me or showed me he deserves his status as superstar. He has time to develop, but if we compare him now with european young players there is no way he would be in top of any list.

Adu is 14. In essence, comparing him to any of those guys is like comparing one of them with Henry. All excellent, but just different stages.

Incidentally, if you put Torres, particularly, in MLS... he'd have scored far more goals than Adu by now. This is not judging their relative abilities. Just their development to this point.

Ronaldo is Class . I just hope Scolari gives him a play For Portugal so he can be shine in the spotlight
