INCREDIBLE TO SEE A LOT OF RACIST AND STUPID COMMENTS
VERGARA WILL HAVE A CHIVAS USA TEAM WITH AMERICANS!!!!! THE FACT THAT MANY OF THEM MIGHT BE OF HISPANIC DESCENT DOESN'T MAKE THEM LESS AMERICANS!!!! REMEMBER BEING AMERICAN IS NOT A MATTER OF RACE OR CULTURAL BACKGROUND, IS ABOUT WHERE YOU WERE BORNED!!!!!
I DON'T KNOW FROM WHERE THE HELL A LOT OF YOU CAME UP WITH THE CONCLUSION THAT THIS TEAM WILL ONLY HAVE MEXICANS OR MEXICAN DESCENTS!!!
OF COURSE THAT VERGARA WILL PLAY TO THE HUGE LATINO SOCCER FANS IN THE US (WHO ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO THE SUCCESS OF THE MLS), BUT IT'S NOT HE'S PRETENDING TO CREATE A SELF-SEGREGATION TEAM OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
I THINK THAT PEOPLE IS UPSET BECAUSE ONCE MORE HISPANICS ARE BECOMING MORE VISIBLE, CHIVAS USA WILL BE OWNED BY A MEXICAN AND MOST PROBABLY THE MLS WILL BRING A LOT OF HISPANICS FANS TO THE STADIUMS.
IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF BEING SETTING NEXT TO A HISPANIC, DON'T GO TO THE STADIUM. MIGHT BE BETTER FOR YOU TO STAY IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOUSE AND WATCH YOUR FAVORITE MLS TEAM.
TIME WILL COME AND PROOF THAT THE MLS, FANS AND USA WILL BE BENEFIATED.
BY THE WAY.. HAVE YOU HEARD THAT THE AMERICA SOCCER CLUB IS ALSO TRYING TO BUY A FRANCHISE IN THE MLS????? DO YOU HAVE MORE STUPIDS COMMENTS FOR THIS TEAM AS WELL??
PS
STOP WATCHING JUST ENGLISH SOCCER GAMES; YOU SHOULD ALSO SEE GAMES FROM SPAIN, ITALY AND MEXICO.
BY THE WAY FINALS ARE COMING AND GUESS WHO IS GOING FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP??????
CHIVAS!!!!!
CHIVAS UNO, CHIVAS GRANDE, CHIVAS LIBRE!!!!
ARRIBA CHIVAS, ARRIBA!!!!
GOT ORIGINAL CHIVAS JERSEY?

Dude, calm down... first off, id like to know where these "racist" comments are. Cause honestly, i have know idea.
I DON'T KNOW FROM WHERE THE HELL A LOT OF YOU CAME UP WITH THE CONCLUSION THAT THIS TEAM WILL ONLY HAVE MEXICANS OR MEXICAN DESCENTS!!!
well, he HAS said soemthing along the lines of "my players must speak spanish, if they are going to play on my team they must know spanish, or at least learn it"
OF COURSE THAT VERGARA WILL PLAY TO THE HUGE LATINO SOCCER FANS IN THE US (WHO ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO THE SUCCESS OF THE MLS), BUT IT'S NOT HE'S PRETENDING TO CREATE A SELF-SEGREGATION TEAM OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
right, are you talking about the huge latino fan-base which came out in droves to see players like Luis Hernandez, Jorge Campos, Hermosillo, and all the other mexican players brought to the league in hopes of brining mexicans and hispanics to games.
I THINK THAT PEOPLE IS UPSET BECAUSE ONCE MORE HISPANICS ARE BECOMING MORE VISIBLE, CHIVAS USA WILL BE OWNED BY A MEXICAN AND MOST PROBABLY THE MLS WILL BRING A LOT OF HISPANICS FANS TO THE STADIUMS.
this is the same mentality people had before El Matador started playing... that "yeah, he will bring a lot of hispanics to the stadiums. he is someone for them to connect with!"
did that happen?
not at all. it was a huge failure. just like the several other attempts at this before him.
IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF BEING SETTING NEXT TO A HISPANIC, DON'T GO TO THE STADIUM. MIGHT BE BETTER FOR YOU TO STAY IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOUSE AND WATCH YOUR FAVORITE MLS TEAM.
i am most certainly not afraid of that, seeing as i am married to a hispanic!
PS
STOP WATCHING JUST ENGLISH SOCCER GAMES; YOU SHOULD ALSO SEE GAMES FROM SPAIN, ITALY AND MEXICO.
i dont watch english only matches. im going to go see Seville and Betis play during thier next season, as well as Frankfurt and Kaiserslautern in germany. hell, one of my favorite teams is swedish. i also watch the kuwaiti, qatari and arabian leagues.
so what was that about english only?
and by the way... someone making comments about mexicans, or people speaking spanish (im just letting you know for future reference), those are not RACISTS comments. a racists comment is one which is dereogetory towards somebodies RACE, and someones RACE is not thier NATIONALITY. they are two totally different things.
so if you say that someone is a dirty american or a dirty mexican, NEITHER of those comments are racists in anyway whatsoever.
just lettin ya know.

You can't compare to what happened with Luis Hernandez, Jorge Campos and Hermosillo. Those players where brought at the end of their careers.
Let me ask you something.... what do you know about the Mexican Soccer league? Do you know what Chivas represent in Mexico?
I've been living in the US for about 4 years by now, and so far I haven't seen a MLS game (Galaxy doesn't attract my attention, the only player that might make go to a MLS game would be Freddy Adu). And just so you know, I am an American who was raised in Mexico.
Once Chivas starts playing, I will certaintly go to see them. And Frankly is the best thing that have happened to the MLS
And if you call someone dirty + the country name, of course that is a racist comment. Let me you ask you something... what do you think would happened if you would say Dirty Israel?? Of course that it would be a huge offense to the Jewish community, and everybody would be talking about it.
The fact that you are married to a hispanic doesn't make you less Hispanic hater... actually a lot of Chicanos hate Mexico and make Hispanics having a hard time crossing the border (LEGALLY) OF COURSE.
just lettin ya know.

Wants the organization to be spanish speaking only? what a crock of ********.
Its also gonna be a huge crock of ******** when this team is allowed to bend rules left and right...
Where in the bylaws of MLS is it written that all teams must operate in English? And why would they do that when 1.) the US is the 5th largest Spanish speaking country in the world and 2.) Spanish speakers have been critical in establishing the league's legitimacy in the soccer world (Valderrama, Cienfuegos, Etcheverria to name just a few)?
What rules, exactly, has a team that doesn't even exist yet bent? Since last summer they have repeatedly stated their intention to follow league policy w/ regards to foreign players.
