As all the other threads have been closed at this point, I wanted to take a moment to bring people up to speed on the situation.
WFD will be broadcasting on Mondays in September (Tuesday next week due to the holiday) while the team is setting up the new structure and working out the kinks in the system. It will be free via ustream and podcast until Oct 1st while this is done.
Pricing has not been announced firmly other than one tier will be $9.95/month.
Sirius updated their sports page with news of new hosts to WSD, this was apparently done in error and there are no KNOWN plans for the show to return to Sirius radio at this time.
I'm tired of threads being hijacked and closed, so please...keep it on topic. It is getting to the point that we can't even talk about WFD, meaning this forum is of little to no use to those not wishing to partake in the debate about what has happened. I ask kindly that those who wish to have such a debate start their own thread and keep it out of this one.

There will be no threadjacking.
Posts off topic will be deleted and forum bans will be handed out. "Off topic" will be liberally defined as endlessly arguing the Cohen/Hillsborough stuff.

Any word on the quality of the Skype calls? Not the best audio at times, but okay. It may be intersesting if they make this an audio/video experience in the the offchance I want to sit in front of my laptop on home one evening and take in the show (ie. video footage etc).

The problem with quality on the Skype calls is they are often dictated by the ISP of the other end. Even if WFD had a perfect net connection, some calls would still be low quality. Overseas calls would be the worst :).
I'm not that big into the video side of things, but from time to time if I'm free when the show is on I might use that option rather than just stream the audio.

Thanks, I am sick and tired of reading the same crap in every thread posted by the same two or three idiots. Interesting how two of them have only been members of BS for about a month

I agree I can use my time better than watching Steve and Kenny talk, but if they started to air some footage/ highlights, then it starts to become FFF again which is intriguing. It would require some production which might be over Rafa's ability or care.

Heh, I think Rafa would love to do that...but I fear funding and rights will prevent it when they get rolling. Perhaps something to hope for moving forward...it would be very cool indeed.

From the sounds of it, WFD will likely have a tiered system.
Cohen speculated about a possible $6.95 tier on Monday's pod.
They really should do that. When you consider that internet connections vary quite a bit, depening on circumstances really beyond their control, streaming video/skype content can be a bit of a hassle from my experience...even with broadband. I've found ustream and skype to be unreliable at best and wouldn't want to pay for either.
I was always a pod listener anyways with WSD and I that's not going to change.
So there really should be a lower tier for people that just want to download the pod.
I was rarely a live listener, but overall, I think the loss of Sirius coverage is most unfortunate for live listeners. I wish that they could get back w/ Sirius.

Even though I'm on Skype I dont see the added attraction of it. I do the Itunes download and listen in my car so it means nothing to me. It probably sounded attractive to them early on but I dont think it's a big draw to the show since it effects so few.

I think the boys need to really try and petition for Sirius again.
I was on the road this w/e and man, Sirius 125 is pretty desperate in the absence of WSD. Riding back yesterday, they had the same 606 show on repeat all afternoon long, only to carry the night NASCAR race.
Take the planned time off. Secure the right sponsors ahead of time, making them fully informed of the LFC harrassment.
I think Sirius would have them back. 125 is pretty much dead air at the moment.
