Alright new thread here.

Transfer seasons is pretty much over but we still have tons of questions to answer such as GK, CB, what to do with Lell and Ottl, extending MvB and Altintop's contracts, plan to keep Ribery etc.

lol, anyone see that Simpsons episode where Burns assembled a baseball team of pro all stars only to have them all disappear before the big game? The Lell MIA fiasco reminded me of that.

Lell's mobile phone was stolen that day in the locker room. Could it be a robbery? :)

Wenger is such a huge crybaby.

I know, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off topic. But since you put a little film of him next to Hoeness, I thought I'd throw that in.

Maybe Lell will go to Arsenal. They could use a good toilet scrubber.

Man! I get on after a long day at work and I got to read this BULL!!!:(

Maybe it's just karma with this guy (Lell) but it does not surprise me. He is just content with ridding out his contract. In a few years he will be sitting on his coach (stupid typo, but not out of the realm of possibilities since you could say that he dragged down Klinsi by himself with all of the mistakes) watching TV and eating drumsticks. He'll probably weigh in at 450 lbs. Just like Ben Stiller in "Dodgeball".

It's actually sorry to see someone have no confidence left. I am giving him the benefit of the doubt because I can not believe that a professional athlete could be such a p#&#y.

Granted, I don't trust the British media either and this could have been totally invented. Basically, after writing all this I believe that there is almost no purpose to this post.

I'm still trying to picture him sitting on his coach eating drumsticks....:D

I absolutely loved what Wenger did. I think maybe 1 in 2 Man U fans respected his actions too. [/OT]

Fully agree. I don't think he was crying about anything (???). He had every right to be frustrated that game. The penalty was suspect to me, but his own team shot themselves in the foot. Despite being the better team on the day.

Now when he opens his mouth and condemns United's tactics during the game... that is a different story.

My crybaby comment was more in reference to his bellyaching about Eduardo getting banned for his dive. It was a clear dive. Sorry, Arsene.

The other thing, where he kicked the water bottle, was just frustration, and something anyone would have done.

BTW - ManU sucks this season, and were lucky beyond description to have Arsenal and the ref to hand them that game. Seriously, Rooney is really the only player worth watching on that team now. Nani? Please. Carrick? Decent if he pulls his head out of ass and plays to his ability. Giggs, Scholes, Neville? All well past their prime, and only decent now. Rio is great, but injured. Vidic is quality, but he's going to get exposed. Van Der Saar is great, but also nearing retirement.

But something tells me that SAF will still manage to eek out wins and still be up there.

Nevertheless, with "Robbery", I'd watch Bayern over Manure any day!

Yea, Man Utd looks much weaker. Can't tell if Ferguson was out to prove something by buying almost no one with the Ronaldo funds or if he has become senile but that midfield is bad. That game at White Hart Lane should be very interesting despite Tottenham missing Modric. Arsenal seems to be the real deal but always they slump in mid season as their weakling youngsters get injured and they play with a depleted roster. Liverpool is still great but they might be the most vulnerable of the Big 4 just because Tottenham and Man City have improved so much.

Chelsea is a rock and I expect them to win the title quite easily but now the 2 - 6 spots are completely open. It could be Tottenham and Man City in top 4 and I would not be shocked. Really fun year for the EPL, too bad it still won't compare to the Bundesliga :).

I do like what I have seen from Fletcher.

As the saying goes "Arsenal are fun to watch when they are playing well"... and they did that last weekend at Old Trafford. Arshavin hit a blinder! Man, he would have looked great in a Bayern shirt last January, no?!!

SAF is a football legend and an astute mind... he will always have competitive teams... no matter where he is coaching.

His teams always display intestinal fortitude, and always do a lot of the "little things". And his fast passing tactics are usually well honed and difficult to deal with.

But man, were they ever crap against Barca. Barca schooled 'em. Of course, Barca schooled Bayern, ever worse!

I guess people forget his coaching record at Aberdeen before he moved to Man U.

He's the last manger to win a Scottish title not guiding Rangers or Celtic.

I guess you all also either forget or don't know, SAF's Aberdeen knocked off BAYERN on the way to winning the 1983 Cup Winners' Cup.

As far as those you saying Man U. "sucks", I would like to remind you of what happened to Bayern the season after Ballack walked.

Bayern needed a year to get it back on track didn't they?

So don't talk shit.

Are you confused? The posts here were complimenting SAF. No need to defend him.

And yes, I do think ManU "sucks", with a caveat, which is "they suck, for them, that is". I'll stand by my comment that Rooney is the only one there I want to watch. Losing Ronaldo was one thing, but they also lost Tevez. That's a whole lot of skill, creativity, goals, and excitement. Gone. Poof. And what did they replace that with? Owen and Valencia. That's like replacing Joe Montana with Trent Dilfer.
