He also is reported to play Left Back... and u can never really have too many of those. I am glad we signed him, signing youth is always a positive thing imo... although I don't expect him to contribute until around the end of his 5 year contract... If u cannot get into Barcelona's defence, then u really are at an early stage of development. That said, we have an excellent record of bringing youth up to the level we need....

Why the hell would anyone "hate on" you for signing a promising young player? You hardly chucked tens of millions on him. Anyway we've already got the best Spanish U17 player in the form of the midfielder Cesc Frabregas (Overall top goalscorer & Player of the tournament in the U17 World Cup) so you'll get no musings from us.

Only Valencia and Deportivo let in more goals. They were one of the best. Why don't you rate more Ds in Spain?

I've been impressed with Oleguer's progress. I would expect him to be joining Puyol with the nats next year.
