Not sure if this is ok to post in here or not, but I want to make the grenada match in c-bus in two weeks, and I cant find anyone from DC who has any room left, so I figure this is worth a shot :) Id be of course willing to pitch in on gas/whatever, and Id like to leave AFTER the DC game on the 12th, if any of you folks are doing that.

Yes, I think they're all going together. Victory said that some of my barra brothers were taking a van up, but it was (and still is) full, so no go there.

Ok, my situation has changed, here is a crosspost from the DC board..that I posted..
Alright, since Im having trouble finding a ride up to c-bus for the Nat team match on the 13th, I might just drive up there on my own.
THE PLAN
We would attend the DC game on the 12th (of course), after which we would hop the red line metro to my house, get in the car and start the 7 hour drive to colombus, arriving roughly a few hours before tailgate time. We would tailgate, watch the US game, crash in a cheap hotel nearby and leave for home sometime monday morning.
THE PRICES:
Ticket price: 25 + 5 dollar ticketmaster rape
Hotel: 50 dollars a night at the Days Inn for a room with two double beds, so if we got 3 people plus me, it'd be 25 dollars a room per person.
THE HITCH
I hate to sound cheap like this, but the fact is Im a broke-@$$ college student and I just started a new job and I never have much money to begin with. Between the costs of the DC + Nat ticket and the hotel, I will not be able to afford to put ANY money into gas. I drive a 1997 Honda Civic, so I get decent mileage, but gas is still hella expensive. So the hitch is, if you want to come, expect to split the gas between the other passengers. I am making a sacrifice by being the designated driver from the DC game, which means no cerveza, plus the mileage on my car.
If you are interested, go ahead and PM me. I havent bought my ticket yet, and I cant go unless 2/3 others come with to pay for the gas, so let me know if you're interested.

Well, just incase you can't get some other people to go, I have an idea of how you can manage to go yourself.
The game is at 1:00, so it should be over around 3, 3:30 at the latest. If you don't stick around for any post-game stuff, you could just get in the car and be home before 11 PM (you said it's a 7 hour drive). That would save $25 a night for the hotel which you could use for gas money.

The problem is that NattyBo drove all night, partook in some pre-game tail-gating, screamed his lungs out for 2 hours, and it will take at least an hour to get out of the parking lot. To expect him to be able to drive home, is an accident waiting to happen.
As an aside - I was thinking about it - but I have a meeting that I need to be at on Monday.
Good luck - NattyBo

So there are still tickets available? Dang it. I really want to go, but will feel guilty family-wise and all.

Just go to the match Nancy, your family will understand (at least they should).

I'm pretty sure my husband would kill me for suggesting it.
