Villa quote by Black Sabbath

Many of you probably know about this but
I just found an old quote (late 70's) by Geezer Butler, the Black Sabbath bassist, thought it was pretty cool.

Asked what the high point of Black Sabbath's first ten years of existence, he answered Villa winning the League Cup.

I hadn`t heard that quote. I knew Ozzy was a Villa fan, I wasn`t sure of the other members.

Ran into another Black Sabbath quote

Just after Live Aid, where Geezer got out
his old Aston Villa scarf and pointed out a stain on it. "That's the blood
of a Blue (Birmingham City fan), that is. Never washed it off."

wow , thats awesome info right there. I'm a Villa fan of some sort and I'm a huge Sabbath fan, its good to see those two coming together :D
