Toughest match in the schedule so far.
Discuss! :)

I have no clue what to expect.

A nice mix of anticipation, dread, and indigestion right now. I'm looking forward to it....I guess. Looking forward to getting it over with, anyway. Should be a brilliant atmosphere at the Vel, at least.

Valbuena is on the list of the 20 players called for this match. If he was leaving, wouldnt he be kept off the list ?

I don't think he's leaving, is he? Or did I miss something? As far as I know, clubs have made their interest known and such, but they've always either had their bid rejected or been told that they aren't a big enough club (i.e. Wigan). With only a couple days left in the mercato, if he's not left by now it seems unlikely to happen.

I think Mathieu has been disappointed by the quality of some of the clubs that have shown the most interest (save for perhaps Atletico, and I don't really know what's up with that situation), and with Ben Arfa's relatively poor showings he sees a chance to possibly eventually break back into the starting 11 (or at least, a more stable rotation). We'll see what happens now, as he'll (presumably) be around for at least four more months and will surely have at least a few opportunities to show what he can do and possibly sway DD's opinion.

Kezman has been left off the roster for PSG's match tomorrow and that means he's likely gone so since Valbuena made the OM roster I hoped that was a sign he stays.

Ah, yea.

Speaking of the right wing (sort of), I really hope Kone starts tomorrow.

The lack of goals is really starting to worry and get to me. :(

remember bro, the team is rebuilding. True, you wanted a win vs Bordeaux. Especially how they frogged L'OM last season. This team has kept their pieces in order & L'OM has reshuffled a bit. It will take them a bit of time to gell.

Agreed and let's not forget about Lucho. Here's to hoping that he can add a spark to ignite that offense. The defense did look solid though and with a bit of luck (and some thinner crossbars) and L'OM would have left with 3 points. I was initially annoyed about today's result but the fact that they were able to shutdown the Bordeaux steamroller, I think today's events weren't bad. As long as they stay within striking distance, things will gel and then we're talking about a solid race with Bordeaux and Lyon, who look awesome right now.

Yea, I'd say this match was one where we certainly missed Lucho quite a bit. His presence going forward would have been quite valuable in this sort of match, although we did still manage a few chances.

A decent performance overall...could have been better, but whatever. Obviously, with a bit of luck we'd have gotten a goal, but it didn't happen. The defense was certainly encouraging, as Bordeaux never got a real clear chance on goal.

I didn't get to see the match (to busy playing myself), but why was Bakari Koné subbed in the 13th & Ben Arfa come on late for Mathieu Valbuena???? Questionable decisions by Deschamps

Kone got hurt and Valbuena was the "closest" valid option.

The sub between Koné and Valbuena was ok.

Strange was a ofensive trio with...Valbuena/Ben Arfa,Morientes and Brandão,lol.
