I'm suprised not to see more speculation and rumors over moves at Celtic this summer.
Sky is reporting that Celtic are interested in Leverkusen's Bulgarian, Berbatov.

apparently were interested in every player and his dog, what i expect to see happen is nacho novo sign for 200k and the board to stuff more money into the boots of their motors and drive away laughing maniaclly at the 60,000 mugs they use as a cash machine every second week, not to mention the countless hundreds of thousands who buy the merchandise.
"The Beating of Barca" DVD looks like it was knocked up on my cousins clipart program in 5 minutes, the dvds burned then distributed worldwide.

Neither one of you is getting Novo for the laughable fees you've been offering . He's more valuable to keep rather than send you him for 200 k .
from dundeefc.co.uk
Chief Executive Peter Marr told The Sunday Post that unless substantially improved offers for Nacho Novo or Julian Speroni are received by the club then the players will be wearing the Dark Blue again in the new season. Speaking to head sportswriter Ron Scott Peter said "Nacho and Julian are worth much more to Dundee remaining at Dens, if we are not offered the money we value the pair at, they are going nowhere. The ball is firmly in Dundee’s court given that both players are under contract and are more than content to remain at Dens."
Marr said that Rangers bid of £200,000 for Novo, who scored 25 goals last season, was "laughable"

"I think Stilian has the chance to move to a bigger league now," he said. "After five years in Scotland it's very important for him to move on and develop as a player."
Yeah cos it certainly did henrik larsson no good to stay with celtic all these years.

Radzinzki may be going to Celtic in a Part Exchange for Balde.

That makes sense, over-rated striker for defender that has forgotten how to defend since he came back from the african nations cup.

Good news : McGeady signed a 4 year deal. I wouldn't expect to see him play much next year as he's still young. Still, he's one for the future.
Also, Celtic have been linked with a move for Carew :

I think Radzinski would make a good third striker if the price were right. At least until Maloney comes back. I shouldn't like to lose Balde though. Sure, he has his dodgy moments. But as a physical presence hes pretty much irreplaceable, unless we get this guy (http://www.mlsnet.com/MLS/players/bio.jsp?team=chf&player=curtin_j&playerId=cur622937). :)

Looks like Henrik is on his way to the Camp Nou (http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/040622/1/4kbp.html). Ironic, no?
It would be even more so if we were to meet them in the CL this year.

Berbatov might be a good investment. He's no Larsson but he's a tough-minded attacker. Leverkusen is probably getting rid of him preparatory to bringing back Landon Donovan.

Does anyone know whether former BVB striker Amoroso will join Celtic on their USA tour this summer? Heard he should join them on trial.

I thought I read he is not joining Celtic; my recollection is that Marty wanted to be sure Amoroso was fit and Amoroso thought his reputation precluded little things like fitness. I can't find the article, though.
Celtic open the North American tour in less than a month so I think one or more strikers will be signed by then.

[QUOTE=Ed NYC Firm]Neither one of you is getting Novo for the laughable John Sutton was a big hit with Raith Rovers
Dundee have signed striker John Sutton, brother of Celtic star - Chris, on a season-long loan deal from Millwall.
The former Raith Rovers forward played just five times for the Lions last season after his move south in January.
Dundee chief executive Peter Marr told the club's website: "We're delighted to have him here, he's a player we've admired for some time."
The arrival of the 21-year-old could pave the way for last season's top scorer Nacho Novo to leave Dens Park.

Novo in Celtic Park talks
Nacho Novo was at Celtic Park for talks on Tuesday
Striker Nacho Novo has arrived at Celtic Park for signing talks after Dundee accepted a £500,000 offer from the Scottish champions.
Celtic's Glasgow rivals, Rangers, had long been favourites to capture the 25-year-old Spaniard.
But the Ibrox club have so far only increased their bid to £350,000.
A Dundee spokesman said on Tuesday: "We are continuing to talk to a number of clubs who have expressed an interest in Nacho Novo."
Dundee had denied suggestions that Novo is prepared to hold out for a move to Rangers, even if it meant leaving for nothing next season.
His willingness to travel to Glasgow to meet Celtic officials appears to be confirmation of that.
Rangers are being short-sighted
Dundee chief executive Peter Marr
Novo is close friends with former Dens Park team-mate Zurab Khizanishvili, who has been at Ibrox for a season.
Rangers angered the Tayside club when an SPL tribunal ruled they did not have to pay a fee for the Georgian defender Zura Khizanishvili.
Dundee were placed in administration days later and Dens Park chief executive Peter Marr has criticised Rangers for being "short-sighted" in the race for Novo.
"It's sad Rangers can't afford another £150,000 to sign a player who could possibly put them into the Champions League," he told the Sun.
New Rangers Novo bid fails
"What's that worth to them? It could be counted in millions. All the money they get from that would easily pay for his transfer.
"After all, Rangers didn't have a player who matched his total of 25 goals last season and we don't consider £500,000 is a lot of money for Nacho.
"Thankfully, there may be other clubs who can match our valuation.
"Anyway, no matter what Rangers think, we have to do what is best for Dundee."

Rangers have had an offer in the region of £450,000 accepted by Dundee for striker Nacho Novo.
The player is expected to sign for the Ibrox club imminently, with the agreement of personal terms thought to be a formality.
The news brings to an end weeks of speculation regarding Novo's future.
The Spaniard held talks with Celtic last week but no agreement was reached and it seems certain that he will now join Rangers.
