Since Ive started following EPL Im just amazed at how close in proximity all the teams are geographically. Fullham and Chelsea are seperated by what, 3-4 miles I think I heard?

Can someone direct me to some history behind the EPL or a site that shows where each of the teams are located?

Its nothing like sports in NA where each major metro area has a team and only a couple of cities have more than one.

Thx in advance.

And of course, Real Madrid and Barcelona.

EDIT: I just remembered the best example of this thread, Blue N'Gooner!

Yea there's a few of those posters around. Though I think all the West Ham/Millwall supporters cancelled their accounts. All in the hospital from self inflicted wounds.

My bad!!

Wasnt aware they were rivals. I like Fulham because they seem to have an affinity for Yanks and Chelsea is just a wonderful team, love Lampard (n/h) and Drogba, the whole team really!

As I said on the main board, Ive only really started watching/following EPL this summer and when I was looking for a team to follow was having a hard time choosing between Chelsea & Fulham, so why not both.

No way Id cheer for Man U, theyre the NY Yankees of the EPL amirite?

Hey it's all good. Just watch some games and you will naturally just develop a liking for whatever teams. Good to see you are a fan of soccer now, and welcome to the board.

If he's new to the sport, let's teach him from the getgo. It is called FOOTBALL.

Repped yeah people should be allowed to call the sport whatever they want.

never thought I would be saying this but I agree with Luca on this one

I dont believe Luca was trying to be a dick, I think he was pointing out that it may be easier for sabresrule to assimilate into the football world if he uses the world football instead of soccer- which is quite often mocked and laugh at by several of us football snobs.

Calling soccer football in the US is pretty much a waste of time. Pretty much every single person you say that too will assume you mean NFL

Agreed, since living in the US I have learned to use the word "soccer"...much easier than getting into the whole, "You use your feet while in American Football you use your hands" argument which I have engaged in waaaaayyyyyy to many times.

I call it soccer. Always have. It's just what everyone calls it out here. Maybe if I moved to England I'd change it just to make things easier idk. To me football is still American football.
