I hope his English is better than Ranieri's when he came to the Premiership. Anyone know for sure what language he'll be coaching in?

One of his first jobs was as interpreter to Bobby Robson, in fact he probably learnt much of what he knows of football management from Robson following him round Europe from Porto to Barca.

So he may well have picked up some understanding of the "British" way of footy too.

We need to give this guy a chance. I loved Claudio, but who on this board didn't bitch about his player selection last year? The bottom line is, he's gone, more players are coming in and we should be stronger than last year. I'd love to see a comparison of our roster at this time last year compared to now. Really an incredible uptick.
You know we're spoiled when people are complaining that we're bringing in the coach who just won the Champs League with a team from Portugal.
