He just had a somewhat good year at Derby---for a 32-year old. Does he still play for Canada? How old was he when he moved from Canada to England? What teams did he play for in Canada before moving to England?

I can't recall what age he was when he went to England, but he was probably somewhere around 19 to 21. He used to play for the Toronto Blizzard in their CSL days (Canadian Soccer League) in the league that formed in Canada after the demise of the NASL & Canada's entry into the 1986 World Cup. It's too bad we don't have that league nowadays.

He still plays for Canada, having returned to the squad after having a falling out with the previous coach, Holger Osieck. He played the 2nd half yesterday in Canada's 1-0 loss to Wales in Wrexham, and apparently played fairly well. He'll be a part of the World Cup qualifying squad against Belize.

How good was he goal-wise while he played for the Blizzard? I'm guessing if he made it all the way to England (and impressed coaches and scouts alike) he must've been near the goal per game ratio, yeah?

Yes that is a real name. I usually just call him Pesch.

Pesch is getting older, but he is still a valuable player off the bench. On a good day he still might be able to give 90 minutes.

I am not sure how many goals Peschisolido scored for the Blizzards during the 90, 91 and 92 seasons. Birmingham City paid 25,000 pounds for him in 1992. In the 1992 season he was named an all-star, but I don't think he scored more then four goals. Perhaps his season was cut short with his signing to Birmingham City? In 1990 he scored 13 goals for the Blizzard.

I believe Peschisolido also had a stint in an American indoor soccer league during the 91-92 winter season (he played for Kansas City)

While I think Peschisolido has been great for Canada for a long time, he somewhat lacks that ability to create a goal that is needed when playing for a team like Canada. If only we had more quality midfielders to set up our forwards...

He and Radz have been the best players to come out of the CSL.

Damn, sorry, man. I have great hope for de Guzman, though. How good is daniel Imhof? And Aristodemo?
As for Radz, didn't he also play under Grzegorz Lato while he was younger? I think Lato had (has?) a soccer school/academy there or something?
