Pred Mania question + ball reviews

firstly a question, anyone know what's the difference between the predator mania I's and the mania II's? or for that matter even the maniac and manando I's and II's.

and can everyone post some reviews of the balls that they have used?
right now the best balls that i've used are probably all the ones from the nike Geo series and some mitre models. i've also bought a few cheap adidas replicas balls of major compititions, coz i really couldn't fork out that much money for that many balls, but they really sucked (although i like adidas in general). i think it's coz of the butyl bladder iinstead of the latex, they just feel awkward. i'm thinking buying the new nike T90 balls in the next few days.
So yeah, post some of your opinions of balls that you like and don't like.

Mitre Tempest - $17 US. I've had it for almost a year and it still holds up nicely. Feels the same if not better than some of the high-end balls. The graphics on it wear off quickly, however. But, my favorite ball of all time would have to be the Adidas Tango Rosario or Pasadena. I forgot which one. But, it keeps it's shape and it always bounces true.

but anyone know about the pred mania and manic IIs? coz all the ones i see right now says they are the pred mania IIs and i never see any saying they are the Is, and judging from when they first came out until now they still look no different.
And anybody played with the new T90 series balls be it the aerow, chrome, freestyle,team or swift? any opinions?

I have a pair of Lunar Predator Manias and on the tag, it's written PREDMANIA 2...so, I suppose the 2 means the new color range...

I am playing with an Adidas Fevernova ball. But not the champagne one. Its the cheaper version with the foam inside the padding. But i have been using those balls for 2 years and they are fantastic for match play for free style because they come with a slight sticky coating on them.

I've played with the total 90 III balls. And yeah they are alright. I think if you get an expensive one you'll be fine. But i found the cheaper ones didn't really keep there shape or design. Especially the white and red. But the grey/red one did. But they are OK balls. The design doesnt put you off while you are playing or anything :-)

Yeah the fevernova balls are excellent nicely padded neat to kick with bare feet and only £10

I have a Adidas Fevernova ball (however you spell it) and a Nike Total 90 Sphere ball. Both in the same price range. The Adidas one I have found terrible, it's lost its shape, the stitching is coming away, the foam is coming through and showing, definately not reccomended. Whereas the Total 90 ball has held up well and managed to keep its shape.

Hmmm.. but i think i've seen a pair of original colourways that said it's a predmania 2 aswell... beats me.. if it is adidases marketing plan it sure is confusing.

i have the fevernova replica aswell (Glider ms). i find it too soft and it also makes a horrible sound when you kick it. my mitre elite lasted a long time and is fantastic to play with only it looses air very quickly. best overall ball that i've owned though was a nike geo i had back in about 98~99(forgot wat it's called). It had the best characteristics of any ball that i've owned (or maybe i was too young to nitice it's bads). a while back my high school team uses uhlsports PT22 balls in practice, think they are very very durable and not bad to have a kick around with too.

I was watching the Liverpool/ Marseille match when Liverpool were in France and i heard the commentators saying that Liverpool players were complaining about the match ball, the new Euro 2004 Adidas Rotario (whatever), they said it was the worst ball they had ever played with. Don't know how true this is but it look like a nice ball.
I got the Predator manias the day they were released so were therefore the 1st version (i think i ain't got the tags), leather softer than the latest Manias, i have the Gunmetal SG but the leather isn't quite as nice as the first Mania's. Adidas probably couldn't be bothered by the time they got to the last colourway. :D

I own 2 "Coupe Du Monde" France 98 WC balls and they are amazing have used 1, had it since then and still are in great condition. The other is in the box, but they are great! Ive kicked around the Adidas Aviero ball and it is great.

There are some boots (i.e. black) that will be Mania I and II...but some others are exclusive to only I or II. I believe colors like red = I only

there are more subtle changes to it, so subtle i don't remember ;)

and there's an Aveiro ball?? i've never heard of it, only know the aveiro shoe... or do you mean the Roteiro?

I bought the OFFICIAL Adidas Roteiro ball of ebay for about $80 (w/shipping) and it is great. It is so damn light it takes a second to get used to but after that you dont wanna play with another ball.

The seller's name was like Three Lions from Hong Kong or something, and if you search "Adidas ball" you can find his ads. And yes - the ball is the real deal, cuz it came in the same packaging as my friend's offical ball, and they are exactly the same feel, etc.

Anyone know if the new nike t90 freestyle ball is just another colour of the nike t90 swift ball (lowest grade t90 ball)? all the printings seems to be the same and they both don't have the Geo balance technology logo.

I have an adidas tango pasadena, it says fifa approved on the side and it costs £30 on prodirectsoccer. The one i own has lasted me for over a year and there are hardly any signs of wear, the only factor is dirt on the outside which comes off if i wash it. I think it is one of the best balls i have played with, other than a mitre ultimatch england, which i thought was quite good.

How does the mania fit compared to other adidas cleats. I have the chance to get the manias in 9, but I wear a 9.5 in copas. Will these still fit?
