Good look to Iceland And Japan in the FA Tourament!!!!!!
You will need the luck because you might get beat 3 or 4 nil..

I think Iceland and particularly Japan will do well. Apart from Jermaine Defoe all the other England players will be going through the motions and trying not to get injured. Sven already has his team mapped out for the france game, so there's not much incentive out there.
Japan and Iceland on the other hand will want to do themselves proud and get something from their games with England.
Can a mod stick an R in this thread's subject?

The choice of opposition is abit strange..
cant see how playing games vs japan and iceland would aid the euro 2004 efforts.
Hoddle had the right idea when it came to pre tournie preparation.

i wouldnt say that japan would be a walk over. if you would say they wont aid are euro 2004 chances you mustnt of seen the 2002 world cup. they done really well :mad:

Japan aren't bad, probably around as good as the lesser competition you'll face at Euro 2004. Iceland may have been a strange choice, but they aren't a pushover either, plus you had to find teams who were willing to take part.
