how can someone apply for a job with the timbers when they join the mls? does anyone know how competitive it might be?

Apparently they are still discussing the structure of the club and how it will operate, but word is that they have many resume's already sent in for several positions, existing or not, including GM and Coach.

Getting a job with any MLS team is not easy unless you are comfortable making pretty much nothing.

Have you forgotten it's post September 2008 right now. I think people just want JOBS period. If I were without work I'd be plenty happy working around something I love for minimum wage.
