Was Klinsi maybe not the problem at Bayern? They have now been through how many managers and players over the last 2 to 3 years and its not any better. The only thing that is left is to clean out the whole old boy network that has been running FCB (Uli, KH, Gerland, Franz, Muller) and start over. How many promissing young players have they let go of? The whole thing blows my mind.

There's something rotten in the club. Can't put my finger on one thing. Probably because it isn't just one thing.

If that were to happen, the entire club could be in ruins indefinitely, I certainly do not want the circus of Real Madrid to happen at Bayern. Why is Gerland in there? He was just a reserve coach...
However I do agree those in decision making transfers have to be questioned. Everything seems to have gone downhill after Ballack left.

Spot on. The simple way that whole deal was handled... not allowing Michael to leave, then losing him on a free, which was vindictively prophetic... nothing has seemed the same since.
I know the term 'honor' and Bayern are not bed-fellows but there seemed to be some sort of loyal honor with the players prior to that year in their relationship with management.
Perhaps it was Bayern that changed as many have suggested, but rather the market and how things now need to be dealt with, and the fact that Uli and comp. are stuck in their previous decade mindset isn't progressing things.
Change is a comin', there is no doubt about it. But as FF1 has stated, Uli Hoeness - whether you like the guy or not - has done a phenomenal job in his time at Bayern. It is simply time for his exit I am afraid.
