"De Vos has won 40 caps for Canada
Ipswich Town have completed the signing of defender Jason de Vos from Division One rivals Wigan in a three-year deal.
De Vos joins the Tractor Boys on a free transfer after his contract at the JJB Stadium ended this summer."

Good news for Jason as he goes from one promotion hopeful (Wigan) to another (Ipswich).
Always good to see another Canadian with Ipswich. :D

How many Canadians play for them and do you know if any Americans do? I live in Ipswich and it would be interesting to know that. Sometimes I see Kieron Dyer out in town.
De Vos is the only one now. However, Craig Forrest, Frank Yallop were with Town a few years ago. I seem to recall another Canadian with the team in the early 70's (bit before my time)
Nope, after I didn't do well in my trial with Town, ;) I guess they decided they didn't need any Americans so to the best of my knowledge there have never been any Americans there.

My trial with them didn't do too well either, although we did get to
see the team workout room for an afternoon, eh PZ?
On the other hand, my game with the Punch Drunk FC in Ipswich was
a gas. What can be better than playing football with new friends and
having beer afterwards?
Go Town!

Shouldn't you be working? ;)
Too bad Punch Drunk weren't around when I still living there.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that Cobi Jones had a trial at PR about 3 years ago but from what I heard, it didn't go to well....he came back to LA and quickly signed a new MLS contract.

at 9pm? I missed a year of work, but I'm not going to make up for it by working late! Nope, the fine art of being lazy is alive and well in me.
As for them being around, well, we'll just have to organize another trip
through ITFC-NASC this season. This time around I can afford it! Speaking of
NASC, I'd like to do something to get more posts or participation this year, maybe even help resurrect the website. What do you think?

We do need to do a better job of the trip this year and I know what I want for the new site, I just need to get it built.
