Vanhal would prefere to win the Champions league than the League because he's already won the league,
I know most of you know this already, but I think it's very interesting.
Don't you think it's more important for Barca to win the League rather than the Champions League right now?
Man Utd are obsessed with the CL too, but not winning the league would severely depress and sour winning it.

Since they've won a lot of leagues and just one CL, I s'pose they desire this more. And I think it's a matter of personal pride to the brick-headed dutch to match Cruyff's record of winning CL with Barça. Specially since old Johan always is critizising him. And in a similar way Gaspart will like to emulate Nuñez.
Hey, don't misunderstand me... I do love Van Gaal... he really makes me laugh a lot ;)

And that his failures in Europe the first time around was given as a leading reason for he and Nunez leaving, although it was also his crappy attitude and making the club look like it belonged in the Dutch league.

MADRIZ, if you're suggesting one single trophy will keep our aficion happy you're lost! we have a plantel to make it (at least) at the semis in the UCL!
