Update: Padilla has been sold from CD Guadalajara to Chivas USA according to soccerbyives.net.
Analysis: Padilla has fallen out of favor after revealing that he was born in America. Apparently CD Guadalajara are proud to have only Mexican players on their side. Chivas USA was glad to snap up Padilla, whose national team profile may be increased now for Bob Bradley's striker-starved USA squad.
