I am trying to decide whether to have bendtner or defoe for my fantasy team. bendtner is a bit cheaper and is improving a lot but not sure about how many games he will start... defoe is reliable and will start almost every game...

whats your call?

I would go Defoe, from what I've seen of him in the preseason (internationally and for spurs) he is going to have a good season unless he gets injured. Bendtner needs a little more time to mature as a striker IMO, he lacks confidence in front of goal.

Spurs have Keane, Crouch and Defoe so I wouldn't say he is a sure starter. Either of the Sunderland forwards are better values IMO. If you are limited to those two then I'd favor Defoe. Arsenal have Eduardo and Walcott who will be eying up the RW role.

I wouldn't choose either. Neither s garaunteed a starting spot.

I've went with Darren Bent. :)

-Adebayor to Bendtner at White Hart Lane.

I've got Bendtner in my FF team, I am hopeful he will do the Biz. Although all things being equal I would go for Defoe if you could afford him. Bent is a good shout though as he is pretty much a certain starter with the Mackams, and I would guess is good for 15+ goals this season.

It certainly is.

Cue a bout of spitting and headbutting and handbags at dawn.

Funniest thing I've seen for ages!

Defoe has to be 1 of the top 10 strikers in the league now.

Defoe I Think ...Because Bendtner doesnt play 90 min in games always nad you would miss so many points!!

On current form he's in the top 5 if you ask me along with Rooney, Bent and Torres. Not many socring more than him / playing as well as him at present.

Fernando Torres, hands down. If he stays fit no one comes close.

Bent is a decent goal scorer but he's not at a club condusive to providing a top scorer. Top goal scorers from bottom-half / mid table clubs seldom happen. The last one I can remember is Kevin Phillips with Sunderland years ago although didn't Crouch dop well with Southampton not too long ago? Since then it's been players like Shearer, Owen, Drogba, Torres and Ronaldo etc.

Rooney's a decent shout if he keeps his form up but his goals tend to come in bursts and any player who relies on bursts of form is going to struggle because you never know where the next purple patch is coming from.

I think, personally you understand, that RVP is too injury prone to be a contender but he's definitely got the quality. Owen simply won't see enough playing time, in my opinion.

Defo perhaps. Drogba as well.

I'd go with Torres and then>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Drogba.

Lampard might be a decent shout mind..............
