Bayern Munich left back or left winger whereabouts

I need to know what has become of the young player that Bayern Munich had a few years ago. He used to play mainly as a left back or left winger. he is about 6 feet 3 inches tall. I last recalled seeing him play for Bayern in the 2007-2008 season. What has become of him now?
