Since you're the only person I have contact with who supports Greenock Morton, I was wondering if you had any news regarding John and Marco Maisano.
I haven't heard anything of them for a long time (not even sure if they're still at Morton, to be honest) and was wondering if you could shed any light.

They're still with Morton. John has been brilliant this season, especially in the first half of the season, faded towards the end but so did the whole team! He was one of the 4 nominated for second division player of the year. Scored 8 goals this season and has many assists. He's our playmaker and with most playmakers some love him (like me) and some think he doesn't work hard enough! Marco had a good start to the season but has been poor of late, a few fans have turned on him a bit, but he has undoubted potential. Works very hard for the team, he's been booked 11 times this season! What you can't doubt is their passion for football and their passion for morton, and this is very much acknowledged by the fans.
There's often news on the maisanos at www.tribalfootball.com, john has his own column there, it hasn't been updated for about a month but you can read his past comments.
You can see a video of John scoring a free kick here - http://tontastic.no-ip.com/index.php?d=2004-03-09-League-H-Airdrie&f=m, and another one here http://tontastic.no-ip.com/index.php?d=2004-03-09-League-H-Airdrie&f=m
There's many picture of the maisanos playing at http://tontastic.no-ip.com/
I'm sure Gordon_ef has views on the maisanos as well.

Hey, thanks a ton. I'm having a ball going through all these old columns ;).
I always enjoyed seeing Marco play at Marconi, and I was pretty happy when they both went to Morton as a pair. I'll have to keep a close eye on Morton next season.

John Maisano: good player, nothing against him.
Marco Maisano: ordinary player, wanker.
