If you weren't a follower of God's eleven, I'd swear Nick Hornby had just crept onto these boards.
To answer the question, yes it is possible, like being in love with more than one woman. But you'll always have your far ahead favourites, where your heart is.
1st team: Tottenham Hotspur, 2nd team: Leyton Orient.
As for supporting Spurs AND Arsenal, or Man Utd AND Liverpool. That is absolutely depraved. In fact it's usually dodgy to support more than one team in the same division.
I'm sorry for disagreeing but if you are a REAL supporter of one club you cant support another.....but you should all really, really dislike any of the big money-grabbing teams anywhere in the world along with the likes of Rupert Murdoch who are slowly destroying football by pretending to be its saviour.

If it's any comfort to you, I couldn't possibly bring myself to read that Hornby book.
Hey, wait a minute, don't tell me you have?
How COULD you?

it is (i think) posible to support two clubs IF they are not in the same country. it's fine to like another club in the same country but not to be a supporter of it.
Example: i am a Supporter of Chelsea & Ajax Amsterdam. i "like" aston villa (a friend's club) and i hope they do well, but when they meet chelsea i hope the Blues stomp em' :)

I take it none of you are familiar with Leyton Orient? Following the O's is like following another country (somewhere in Slovenia probably).

it's definitely possible to LIKE more than one team... but SUPPORT (as in, to the ends of the oceans, etc) well... i don't think so.
i mean, hy would you even WANT to, right?? if you really like one team, it'd be enough and it'd b totally consuming... it is for me, anyway...
and it's definitely impossible for a Gooner to like ManU... no way!
but i kinda like newcastle united (4 shearer)...
just my opinion... :)

I really dont know how one can be a gunner and another a Manchester United supporter? This is an extreme case but a good point. Its just really weird if there was someone like this.

I also like Man City and Leeds, because of their hatred of United.

Yeah, but then you would not be a TRU fan at heart just a fair weather fan(for those who don't know, it is like a Tottenham supporter to start supporting Arsenal just because they did well during the 03-04 season)!
