Very excited to ...not... watch this game live.
I hope to find a torrent for it, if it becomes availbile. Also, cross fingers for ESPN/FSC to figure out their crap before kickoff.
PS. I have been not-posting in this forum for what seems like years now, but i have been reading them nevertheless. I figured i would jump back into the fray, be gentle with me...

That sounds about right. It's a shame Zhirkov is injured. I would've liked to see him instead of Malouda, but I don't think that's changing any time soon.
I wonder if anyone has noticed how thin we are up top after these two guys. Just sayin'.

I'll be working tomorrow until 3-4am so I'll probably try to stay up right through until the late Prem game is over.
The ESPN thing isn't affecting me just yet since I'm home for a couple more weeks, but once I get back to school FSC is as good as dead to me.

Agreed x 50!
Reading through predicitions on other Chelsea forums and people are predicting scorelines like 4 or 5 to nil. I dont think it will be anywhere near that easy. I see a win (I hope!) but I think it will be a hard slog than that.

Hull will want to set the tone for the season here. A lot of people are predicting them to have a dreadful season and go down. What better than a point against Chelsea to get some confidence going. I think we'll win, but if they pack it in and make us break them down it could be a long day with the diamond struggling to stretch defenses.

About how I see it; interesting to see how he adjusts, that was certainly a plus for Carlo in the ManU match and what was missing in the empty space between Jose and Guus, and seen perhaps too much under Claudio, I like Claudio and he did some good buying (some less so, yes) but he always strikes me in tactics as the guy splitting tens and hitting 19 trying for the spectacular score rather than just a win.
Bigger than 2nd half adjustments will be whether he can season adjust to the Premier Lague if he finds the diamond does not or he can not get it to work how he wants here. Took Jose like a game and a half before he said his approach was not going to work here and he adjusted it, took Guus not much longer, took Rafa about 4 years+, and not entirely yet

This should be interesting for us as lobo said it will determine how quickly Carlo can adjust to the Prem. Tbh I think Hull will attempt to have the "nothing to lose" attitude and I am sure Brown will remind them that their result at the Bridge last season led to the sacking of Scolari.
Personally I think this will be a wee tighter than most think, but I believe we will end up with the win.
