meh ... all those people wanting to see euro sides and not 5% of them would pay a fraction of that to see their own national team. it's pretty disgusting.

on a happier note, Toronto looks to be getting a 28,000 seat soccer stadium in the heart of the city. so long as canada wins its bid for the 2007 men's u-20 tournament (so far uncontested) the government is going to kick in a bit of money for a new facility. the CFL's Toronto Argos and the University of Toronto are also footing the bill. Varsity Stadium will exist once more : )

Very true, but until Canadian/USA soccer gets more popular aand better marketed, these Euro sides will always draw better.
