curious what you Brits think will happen in this match. My bet is that England comes out and forces the pace, and maybe picks up a goal via a Beckham free or something eles of a set play. Then they start to sit back and the class of the frenchies starts to show with Henry, Zidane, and Viera all scoring for a 3-1 French win. It's too bad you play the best team in Europe in the first match.

If ZZ plays good..so will France. Henry plays great in England , but for his NT....Averige.
Double team ZZ and let the other French ballers beat you

At the moment I`d say 2-1 France, but I`ll watch our warm up games and see how the midfield works. We also need to go into the game injury free. If our first choice eleven plays and plays well, 2-1 to England.

A 1-0 win for us 'Brits', what with us fielding Scottish and Welsh players now.

Well Owen's welsh, but I can't spot the Scot.

He's not Welsh and doesn't qualify to play for Wales. The man has said so himself. Only Owen Hargreaves is a foreigner.

Really, or maybe I just took the chance to have a go at Owen, because he's as evil as the club he plays for. Or maybe yu were the on who missed the sarcasm. Oh questions, questions.

On paper, France are far superior to England. I predict a first half in which England come out with guns blazing only to be exposed by Les Bleus on the counter. Nothing other than a French victory will do. A final scoreline 3-0 or 4-0 would inflict massive psychological damage on the Young Lions and would send a loud message to the other contenders.

Can't stand the "brits" comments either, but you have to realise that us Americans can't find Canada on a map, how do you ever expect the majority of us to understand the differences between England, the United Kingdom, and Great Britian. This is a great country but we need more geography lessons. I digress
I think it all comes down to the midfield play of England and whoever is up top with Owen. Owen has to have someone else taking some attention off of him. Also a good second half would be great. Look at the Brazil match in the WC. The second half England just seemed to disappear in the 2nd 45. I think everyone can agree that this game is crucial for England to claim it is one of the elite teams of the world and not a second tier team. I'll be a pub with my England kit on for every game, even if they are all in the mid afternoon in Ohio.
