Our clubs meet this Saturday. I was interested in seeing what some of you thought about Sunday's draw in Freiburg?

I don't know what HSV thought but I thought it was heavily disappointing. Not a great start from Labbadia. I feel like he should get more out of the team given the players he has at his disposal. Given, it will take time and they won't play superb football on the first matchday but so far what I've seen from Hamburg in pre-season it has largely been disappointing.

Definitely disappointing way to start the season, however, they sure shaped up for Dortmund.

That they did. Lets see if they can keep it up.

I thought I posted congratulations on the a$$kicking HSV laid on my BVB boyz last weekend, but I don't see it anymore.

So congratulations on that and good luck tonight and this weekend. I hope you guys can keep up the great play!

Such a nice Dortmund fan! Thank you, sir! lol. I've always loved Signal Iduna for what it's worth. HSV is up 2-0 right now thanks to Guererro and Petric.

hehe, I posted on the 08/09 thread. :o Deleted.
Anyway, Guerrero with the finishing touch and Petric with a sweet left-footed strike from roughly 25 yards. HSV leading in Guingamp 0-2 after 11 minutes.

Hoping to see all Bundesliga clubs reach the group stage. ;)

Nice passing movement ends with Petric heading home in the 25th minute.

And now he's blasted just over the bar looking for that hattrick.
HSV's great weekend form continuing.

Don't forget that the French club plays in Lique 2. Still a good result of course.

Congrats on the impressive away result. Now you can rest easy and lose the home game. :D

Yep, they beat Rennes in the French cup final. Still, I could hardly believe they were this bad while watching them.

Ya, they looked horrible.

Petric was superb today and I'm loving seeing Berg progress. This HSV team is going to fight for the BL title this year.

Big game at Wolfsburg this weekend! I'm so excited! I expect a very good game.

Heck of a start to this match. There's no [R] on the thread title, so I don't want to give away the result but it's good news for Hamburg.

HUGE win today at Wolfsburg for my HSV! Petric and Castaleen had beautiful goals to respond to Wolfsburg's comeback. HSV got sloppy early in the 2ne half in defense and had a lot of trouble finishing around the same time, but they kept attacking and come away with 3 points. Guerrero had 3-4 opportunities to put away easy goals and failed to do so. I really think Marcus Berg needs to start instead of Guerrero.

NUR DER HSV!:D
