Flights to Buenos Aires, Which one?

HI:

Just a quick question what airlines do you guys take to Buenos Aires? I'm heading down to Paraguay to watch the games but I'm going to stop in Buenos Aires for a few days to see the Brazil Argentina game, I been looking in Orbitz.com and they have some good prices but some Airlines I never used before, LAN and AeroMexico, the last one is the cheapest and only has one stop anyways any suggestions on this?

LAN is probably the best airline in South America. I would totally take LAN from NY, but I think it's a codeshare until you get to Miami with American(?).

I'm leaning toward that option , but most of their cheap flights to Buenos Aires have 2 stops.

LAN is very reliable and seems to have very good prices, it's highly reccomended even if you need to take a flight inside Argentina.

LAN had the shortest flights and cheapest, but for some reason I kept getting error messages when I tried to buy the tickets and that happened in every website and if I go to their website directly I got quots for 2500$ and up jajaja and that was a one way ticket, anyways I just decided to buy the tickets already I don't want to end up not being able to find tickets so I went with AeroMexico , they were a little bit more expensive but , I just wanted to get it over with, I'm looking forward to this trip I haven't been in Buenos Aires since 1985 btw what happened to Aerolineas Argentinas? didn't they use to fly from JFK to Buenos Aires directly?.

Aerolineas is being driven into the ground so that the Kirchners can get a rock bottom price for it. Last month they lost ARS10 million. Their on time departure rates are so low it's a joke. LAN is SOOO much better....

Aerolineas Argentinas could be a lot better, it's in quite a sad state, it loses big time compared to LAN, it'll take a while before it becomes comparable again. No idea about the prices though, you could check it out, but if available i'd pick LAN.
