Now that our original thread has been locked, it is in danger of passing from our memory. Although some of the advice is out of date, it's still a treasure trove of insight from some very good managers, and a worthwhile read for any new players who have the time.

I agree 100%, while it's locked, we can't let it die, there is a lot of good advice in the thread.
I just sticked it. Let me talk to some of the other SM's and our leaders to see what we can do. I'm not sure if the issue is posting on large threads or viewing them.
I hope I'm not pissing anyone off, but I do have to follow policy even when its not the most popular thing to do.

I'm not pissed off, it's more disappointment due to the history of the thread. The transfer thread probably needed to be replaced, but the main one just had some much history and it was just a fun thread to post random hattrick stuff now that we have our own forum. I totally understand and I think most people here do.
It can always be unlocked. Let me check on things and we'll see what we can do. I agree. It is a pretty awesome thread...

i dont mind that no one can post in it. its just that it was the thread that started our forum here. you know waht they say..."Remember where you came from..."

does this thread really need to be stickied still? i think we can do away with this and a couple other stickied threads
