That was a great game.

I can send you the recording of the game just in case you missed it.

Hope all is well in our nation's capitol,

Topper,

If you could convert it to a DVD that would be awesome. I mean, you do have a DVD burner, right?

I want to watch a 14 year old kid make a certain South Korean World Cup veteran look like an idiot over and over again.

:p

I'm fairly confident that Nick Rimando would pay big bucks for you to throw that tape on the ground, stomp on it, shoot holes thru it with a missile, and than set it on fire.

By the way, Thamlin, if you really want a tape, I have one that I never plan on watching.

Dang it Dang it!!
I missed the game last night, was working until 830, got home, fell asleep during the 11 o' clock news, so I missed the highlights. Checked with the league site and the ever so MLS reliables only have Moreno's hat trick online. I'd like to get my hands on a copy if all possible. DVD/VHS is cool, 8mm film wouldn't be though.

I would be pleased if you would, with all due caution and forethought, go ******** yourself.

Have a nice day.

That kid was quality. Maybe he should sit the bench the other 89 minutes.

Of course, Cerritos' goal was magic as well.

Then again, it takes beautiful goals to get past Hartman these days. How are things going with Rimando? Next in line for the EPL or ???

:DI missed Cerritos' shot live, because I was so pissed off that Rimando let in another right before it. I saw it on the jumbotron though.

And we all know Rimando sucks. He's got to go. Decent goalkeeping on our side and we win this one 2-1.

The only goal you guys scored that wasn't due to a complete mental breakdown on Rimando's behalf was Moreno's third one. That was an amazing shot.

And from the perspective of shooting the game as a photog, I was in a perfect spot. Five of the six goals happened right in front of me. I haven't had time to go through all of them yet, but I think I might've gotten a few.

I've got both the CSN and HDNet (downsampled to NTSC) feeds on my harddrive. Burning the CSN feed to DVD right now.

We was right next to me. :)

Actually, I just now finished going through my shots - I took around 480. Winnowed those down to a couple of hundred that are pretty decent, then I'll scale 'em back even more.

Unfortunately, I only managed to capture two of the five goals that happened in front of me. Players are so inconsiderate of the photogs when they run real fast and make themselves all blurry or out of focus. ;)

More annoying, of the five goals at our end, all five celebrations either went to the other side of the net or back towards the middle of the field.

I'm looking for old KC games. If you've got any tapes of KC/DC games, let me know.

Yeah, our Moreno is pretty fast, especially goal #2.

Yeah - I wish we had him. Quality player, nice touch, speed, great balance, and strong.

Of course if we did get him it would take a while to wash the stink of LA off of him.
