Freddie goes the full 90 in Palace's first match of the season., a 1-1 draw with Plymouth Argyle. No clue on his performance though.

Debutant striker Freddie Sears, on loan from West Ham United, looked dangerous for the Eagles, while Jamie Mackie impressed up front for Argyle.

I usually don't agree with Neil Warnock, this is a first for me. Great finish from Freddie. Too bad it didn't count.

Sad to see that the level of officiating has dropped to the level that we experience in the MLS! Freddie is gonna be a blinder of a striker some day!

My neither but he was right on this occasion. It always seems to happen to Warnock, not that it matters because he always gets himself involved no matter what. He got his tuppence worth in with the Watford V Reading incident too.
It's time to bring in some technology like hawk eye so that the referees no longer have the power to sway decisions towards the top clubs. The referees now agree that they need technology to help them (I think they previously didn't want their decisions to be undermined by a machine). The difficulty now lies with football's governing bodies.
They are taking the stance that they would rather decisions are made by a human and not a machine. After all, how are they supposed to bribe a machine?!?

is it possible that this is freddie's biggest moment as a professional? reaction to this has been everywhere and filled with hyperbole.
