Late in the first half of D.C. United's 4-2 loss to the Los Angeles Galaxy last night at RFK Stadium, United goalkeeper Nick Rimando easily gathered a harmless bouncing ball that had been sent in from midfield. The crowd of 13,043 roared its approval in a mockingly sarcastic tone, for it was one of the few things Rimando had done correctly in an otherwise horrific half.
