I was setting up the Dish Network DVR for this weeks games and did not see the listing. Did they drop the Premiere feed for the US? Last year's kick in the nuts was GolTV leaving Dish and now this? Any intel?

Comcast picked up ESPN360 and they are carrying a limited Bundesliga schedule, but not this week.

Yes, it is true. The channel alone is $19.99 and the German Language Plus package is $27.99.

I've got DirecTV!!! That looks like a GREAT package. Might be worth changing for....and def cheaper than what I have to pay just to be able to get GolTV (which, of course, isn't showing the game tomorrow...)

I'd prefer the comentary to be in German anyways. Do you have to get the German TV package to order the sports channel?

No, the "a la carte" German Sport channel is $20. I already had some other a la carte German channels so it was an extra $10 to upgrade to the full $28 package.

If you do want to switch to dish, PM me for a friend code.

Let me know how the Bundi coverage is this weekend. If its as good as it sounds like it will be, then I'll most certainly PM you for a friend code. :D

ESPN360 has a replay of the game, but it is from ESPN Deportes (Spanish).

I cannot find a program listing of the "My Sports Germany" channel on Dish Network. There have been some Bundesliga 1 and 2 games on this weekend, but the online guide shows 4 hour blocks of Free Preview.

I tried looking for the listing on their website, but its not much help either.

My friend has dish, so I'm going to check it out at his place next weekend. Hopefully they will have the on screen schedule set up by then.

Anyone know where to find a schedule for this channel of what is on, or what the official name of the channel is?

I am looking for a schedule too but no luck so far. Looks like the name should be "My Sports Germany", that's what they show in between games. They will only have Germany commentary as GolTV has the rights to the English broadcast here in the US. I hope this channel is here to stay. Looking forward to the weekend. I wonder if this channel is somehow part of the sky (former Premiere) channels.

Dirk

PS Very surprised that the German Package didn't go up in price, well maybe it will shortly.

Yes, it sure is. It appears they show the "Konferenz" feed for the Sat afternoon games and the Sat evening game live. I did not see the Friday or Sunday games live. It does stink that there is no information on programming yet. I would love to see some BL 2 games (1860 losing to whoever).

I actually saw a few minutes of the last 1860 game the other day. Did you check it on Sunday? I was hoping they would show all the games live and then on Saturdays the "Konferenz". Did you watch the channel on the weekend? I only found out about it on Monday.

Dish's on screen program guide is showing information for "My Sports Germany" now.

14 Aug 2009, 02:44 PM
The full FC Bayern match is going to be broadcasted later in the day in addition to the live Konferenz feed in the morning. 1860 match is a rebroadcast right before the Konferenz.

Also, www.livesoccertv.com has the program guide.

It appears that the "Free Preview" for My Sports Germany has expired. If anyone is going to switch to Dish Network, PM me your email address for a ClubDish discount refferal. You will receive a $30.00 credit on your first bill in addition to any other promotional package.

I watched about 5 hours of My Sports Germany at my buddy's house on saturday. Le me just say that this chanel is AWESOME!

From 9:00 to 11:30 was the Konferenz, then Alle Spiele alle Tore from 11:30 to 12:30. The 12:30 Match live, then tape delay versions of all of the early games!

If you can get it, this channel is definately worth it.
