When the work is complete, the park's overall capacity will be about 22,000 seats with the capability to go to 23,000, up from the park's current 20,000.
Planners are considering a standing-only platform for the Timbers Army fan group.
Does that mean the stadium can only go up to 23,000? (for future expansion)?
Anyhow, the new prediction thread is reflective of this 22,000 capacity. Moderator, please close the other prediction thread. Thank you.

FYI: Philly has sold over 9,200 season tickets according to ESPN. It has about 8 months to go till kickoff. Its 2000 seats Supporters Section (reserves for supporters only) has been sold out. Sons of Ben supporter group has over 4,800 members. A 2000+ strong supporters in 1 endline will provide awesome atmosphere.

Averaging 8,544 this year in USL 1.
With 2 weeks notice, ~16,200 was sold out for the US Open Cup match with Seattle (could have sold more with bigger capacity).Timbers Army provides awesome supporter atmosphere that probably will help attract and retain more fans. Probably one of the best 3 in MLS when they join in term of supporter atmosphere. Hopefully, the ownership will set aside a "supporters only section" where family type crowd can't get tickets there.
PGE Park will undergo $31 mil renovation/upgrade to MLS configuration with capacity of about 22,000.
