I predict we win this one by a slim margin of 17-1.

Demichelis to score 10 and the Hoffenheim consolation goal to come from a Rensing OG.

:p

Scholl7 tells me that GolTV has the option to pick up a Saturday night slot for an extra Bundesliga match to be shown.... presently that match was to be Hoff vs. FCB.... but God forbid if we have too many B1 matches and not enough La Liga preseason bullshite matches!!!

Currently, GolTV is showing VfB v. Wolfsburg (Friday), BVB v. FC Koeln (Saturday), and BorussiaM v. Bochum (Sunday).

Seems that Hoff v FCB is as interesting to broadcast.

Is it just me ? I feel that the clubs have met like 43 times before in like 1 year . Imho bad choice that the teams meet each other so early.

Predicition: 2-2

Just read the latest Rangnick interview,

'If Vedo Ibisevic will start from the beginning ... that is really worth a thought !'

He almost sound like Beckenbauer after his 12th interview hour, so this game better starts. :D

Isn't it the same as the German Cup game?

Ribery to make 20 minutes or so as a sub most likely.

WHAT THE F#CK. Why do I even pay for that channel if I can no longer see live Bayern games? Shit, even live Bundesliga games would be good. They're all shown after the game is played. BVB v. Koeln? By no stretch of the imagination would that bring more viewers than Bayern v. Hoffenheim. Bullshit channel that can't even make up its mind on what language to use. Broadcast in English, commercials in Spanish. I'm going to go punch a kitten in the face.

From FCBs site...

Van Gaal wants Ribéry to take on the playmaking duties in his revised formation for the club. “The season’s already underway, but he’s basically only started training as of this morning. I have to integrate Franck into the team now, and it’ll be difficult,” the 57-year-old warned.

In the cup tie, youngster Thomas Müller stood in for Ribéry in the position behind the front two. The 19-year-old appears all but certain to feature in the first league fixture of the new term. “I think we’ll start against Hoffenheim with the team that played Neckarelz,” Van Gaal confirmed. Naturally, that depends on no new injuries or illnesses cropping up before the weekend.

I saw this link posted somewhere else:
http://intltv.espn.com/schedules/sport/sportWizardSchedule.jsp?timeZone=EST&Option=158&networks=1&networks=2&networks=18&networks=30&networks=360&networks=34
That's an ESPN page, and it seems to suggest the game will be shown on ESPN Deportes. Which is weird, because although there is this GOLTV-ESPN partnership that is supposedly in the works, I don't think there's been anything official about it yet from what I can tell. Yet, not showing the Bayern-Hoffenheim game would be weird as well... Not that I'd put that past GOLTV.

More decent reading, an interview with GOLTV's head honcho:

LMAO at your last line.... classic! Sinner!!!! :D

Yeah, I have no problem with showing other Bundesliga matches, I quite like the ability to see those teams play. However, I just dumped Dish Network for Direct TV as Dish and GolTV no longer have a contract. I did this all naturally so I could finally be able to record some Bayern matches and watch them, rather than relying on the internet.

Hopefully GolTV start to show more Bayern matches once they start winning ..... er.... if they start winning.

Yeap. I'm pissed too. I have the premium package for DirecTV, and it doesn't even get me ESPN Deportes. We need Landycakes back!

You hope in vain, lol.

LvG will go with the same squad until it is painfully obvious that it doesn't work. He is notorious for his stubbornness.

In a sick kinda way, I want Bayern to lose. I cannot fathom why Tymo is on the bench and how an already weak defense was made weaker in the transfer period.
