Alright, the first qualifier is less than one month away. At the request of a few others in the ticket/scheduling thread, I'm gonna start this as a "roll call" thread to be used for matchday planning/supporter info, etc. There will be at least several hundered behind the goal, so if you're on of them, let us know how many people you're bringing, and what you're bringing. I'll be there with one friend from Cincy who's never been to a nat'l team game before, but I have a feeling he'll fit right in w/ us, you'll hear him loud and clear, I'm sure. We'll be bringing 3 or 4 smaller US flags (think they're 3x5), however much confetti we can get cut by then and in our pockets, and I'll be bringing a bag of red and white streamers. Most of the streamers thrown in the Paraguay friendly last year were ones I distributed..hopefully we can have an even better showing for this match. I urge everybody to bring streamers if at all possible, every little bit helps.
So, that's me. This thread can be used for planning tailgates, march-ins, and other prematch stuff like that too. I believe this match will be the debut of the World Cup Express, what's the latest w/ that? And where are the big flags? Hopefully one or both of the baby and the BAF can make it to Columbus.

I'd love to be there, but I didn't manage to apply for tickets before the Sam's Army deadline of May 11 (from the order form on SA website). Anyone have extras willing to sell, or advice on how to get the supporter's price after the deadline?

My brother and I will be driving down I-71 for the game. I ordered tickets in the SA section awhile ago, but haven't received them yet. Has anybody gotten theirs or know when they'll be coming (or even if we have to get them at will call?) We've both been trying to get to a Nats game for a long time, and finally our schedules are both clear at the same time so we'll be making the drive down :)

We missed the deadline and just ordered them directly through Ticketmaster when they went on public sale last Friday. It's the same price for seats ($25), but you might be in a section other than 136/137/138 (we're in 141, the east corner of the endline). I looked for 1 and 2 tickets on the site, and this is what I came up with:
134/7/3-4 for a pair, 134/6/1 for a single.

A sizeable group of Wizards fans are coming in for Saturday's MLS game. We've got at least 5 full rooms at the Adam's Mark downtown.

Is the SA section full or is there anyway to still buy a couple of tickets there?

Is any tifo planned?

As far as tifo related stuff goes, I'm not sure as of yet. I know in the ticket thread awhile back, Kryptonite mentioned possibly getting both the BAF and the baby flag for this one, since the army is going to be three sections. So, if anyone has info regarding the whereabouts of the flags or whether or not they can make it for this one, please let us know. Apart from the big flags, we'll hopefully be having another big streamer throw at the conclusion of the national anthem. For the Paraguay friendly, I'd say there were around 40 streamers thrown at the end of the anthem. I know my friend and I brought about 20 of them, and TheMutts was there with some as well, so maybe he'll be making it to this one. More as it develops.

call/email the federation. But i'm not guaranteeing anything.
If that doesn't work, call (614)447-2739 and ask for 137. If they can't do that, try for 136 or 138. If that doesn't work, get a ticket somewhere and move on over.

Got my tickets yesterday.
Please don't bring the microcut confetti. I'm STILL finding it from the last US game in C'Bus.

Ah yes, I remember finding the microfiber shredded paper in my clothes all the way back from the Paraguay friendly. And I have some crazy pictures of it all going down in Sam's Army. I'm not sure if anyone if anyone is planning on bringing it. I do know that I plan to have a lot of confetti, but it will be paper squares, bigger cut, either from newspaper or just printer paper. So no worries there.
I remember they had the micro stuff for the Crew-Metro match last fall, but thankfully it was down in the front row of 137 only. The DC guys are famous for it, but I'm not really sure if any of the Barra/La Norte/Screaming Eagle guys are making it in for this one, we'll see. Just know you can count on me for plenty of streamers and confetti.

Just sent the DC guys a PM. I don't know what they can do about it though. Hopefully we'll just have the large stuff.

Has there been any promotion for this game yet? The Cbus media needs to know that this game is just not another friendly, but a WCQ. And get the word out for to have the whole stadium wear red shirts.

Do a grass roots media drive. Have people call local TV, Radio, and newspapers to get the word out, and let them know U.S. fans should be encouraged to wear red.

Got my tickets a few days ago, 137 row 2, although on matchday we'll probably end up a few rows higher. We're pretty close now, about 10 days away, so how are total ticket sales going/what is the expected attendence? Kryptonite, what are the numbers looking like for Sam's Army? And does anyone have any updates as to the whereabouts of the big flags?

Arena eyeing Keller, Meola vs. Grenada
This is much better to complain about.
But that micro-confetti was a pain on a sticky day. As long as I can wash off at a local watering hole, I retract my whine.
