And we go down 1 - nil. Not good defending, at all. Dunne was just standing there and tried to take it far too late. Toure is looking shaky as well, though he has an excuse.

And is it odd for anyone else to see Etuhu out on the pitch? I mean, he looks a bright lad but he just seems out of place.

He should have tried to get in better shape in the offseason. If he really wants to stay with City (especially in the starting XI) its something he should have seriously considered.

It's almost like Hughes has said to Etuhu "Okay, I'll do my best to give you a lot of minutes in the preseason and we'll see if someone comes in for you. But if they don't, expect to spend a lot of time in the reserves."

It was a bit weird seeing Etuhu, I was trying to figure out who that was running around out there. Dunne has been disappointing, continuing with his thuggish form. Robinho-Adebayor-Ireland connection is looking rather sweet today though on the plus side of things. Did anyone else see Stevie track back and make a superb tackle almost in our own box?
