This is great news. But ironic that it happens now, right after Sick Note Anderton and Ziege get released....

i've been arguing for this for YEARS. i asked a question about it when spurs trust members were allowed to ask levy questions. my view has always been, our kind of injury problems can't JUST be bad luck. this is indeed good news. hang on a minute...could it be that levy has had a brain transplant of some kind and is starting to actually do things that make sense?

As you say it's about time!!! It's not been to bad this year but in previous years it's been a nightmare. And while he's at it it would help if he got rid of Redknapp. He'll be taking over from Sicknote next season. How can anyone who has just played five games at the end of the season earn an extension. If I was manager/director of football he''d have been out on his ear.

I think its because unlike the aforementioned injury-prone, Redknapp commands respect and is an authority in the dressing room. Also, having him in the team/squad means we have a 'veteran' in the side. Except for Carr and Keller he's the oldest out there, the difference between them being their positions. Redknapp is always in the thick of it, unlike Carr and Keller (here come the Spurs defence jokes!)
