Best soccer moment

the game when i slide tackled the ref after he gave me a red for breaking this ugly kids foot in 12 places.

Had a good soccer moment this sunday... scored my teams go-ahead goal (we ended up tying 1-1) on a very hard upper corner shot after a great through ball from my teammate. Then played goalie in the second half (our goalie didn't show up) and made some good saves to keep the game 1-1. We went to penalties since it's postseason, and I scored mine (took it first) and then proceeded to get scored on LOTS (small goals, short distance) but I was the only goalie to make a save (one) and we ended up winning because of it! It was a fun game, win, lose, or draw. We won :)

It wasn't my best moment, but definitely the most memorable. The game was scoreless with about 20 minutes left in the game. Our forward tried to toe poke a slow rolling back pass to the keeper(it was legal then). The keeper took offense to this and as our forward was running back down the field, hurled the ball at the forwards head. This would have started a brawl if the linesman hadn't stepped in front of our our midfielders who were charging to the keeper. The keeper is ejected and things seem to calm down.

About five minutes later a ball is sent in high into the box with our keeper and their forward going for it. The keeper grabs the ball but the forward lands on top of him and will not get up. So the keeper does the only logical thing to do in such a situation, he starts punching the kid’s head into the ground! As the sweeper, I am only a few paces away, when the ref comes flying in whistle blaring. He reaches into his pocket but only pulls out a yellow, and called a PK. Why not a red I don't know. At this level a yellow card meant a player had to be subbed out. Well our backup keeper was absolute crap, so I get handed the keepers jersey and gloves. To take the PK! I had never played in the goal in my life.

At this point the varsity keeper who went on to play in the A-League, walked behind the goal and told me to move a couple of steps to the right. The ref finally gets everyone under control and sets the ball down for the PK. The guy kicks the ball right at me, then gets in my face. I shove the ball in his chest and tell him “Nice shot”. The ref cards him. We go on to score 2 goals to win and I don’t face another shot the rest of the game.
Damn, do you play for Roma or Lazio with all the cards.

Itwas all tied in 89th minute and I recieved the ball from a long distance pass, stopped wit my chest and a defender came over so I created a stepover and pushed it to the right and only one defender left and dribbled until I ran across the last one. I pretended to give a pass put I gave a quick little flick wit myheel and pushed it to the other side and I was by myself wit the keeper. He came out and I just chipped it over him. We won the JV CUP and I was Mvp.

i was goalie and i let in a goal at 70min. The coach reckons we've lost the came cause we were playing really badly. So he gives me a shot as an outfield player. I scored a goal from half way just like david beckham. It was my first goal ever!

I have two True best soccer moments one will playing for a recreational team and one for my club team

Rec: It was my 2nd championship game the last one i was in i was 10 years old and we lost 7-0 in this game im 12, we are up by 1, (3-2) and its the 60th minute (we played 30 min halvess) their best guy dribbles 3 of our defenders hes coming down i prepare he shoots it right i dive tip it with the tip on my fingers and it goes out of bounds and i win my first championship ever as goalie!

Club: 1st game of the season we are playing our arch rivals Ponte Vedra Swim, its 2-1 with 2 minutes left, my midfielder passes me the ball two defenders are on me i take it through the wee space they give me one on one bam goaaaallllll! we tie 2-2 im the hero. I also have a picture lol.

In college we played a team where I had to man-mark the Conference Player of the Year for 3 years. I marked him down every year. We met them in the semi-finals and I marked him down again. He was PISSED. But the best part was we went to PK's and I put in the 5th and final kick. It was the only goal I ever scored in college.
