yeah. mine are pretty lame, but I'm not very good.
The first is my first home appearance for my school team. The students section was packed, it was a close game. There was real energy in the air. It was great.
The other was my first goal at the Varsity level. It was a crap tap-in from like 6 yards, but I got the season off to a good start. I hadn't scored in a few years, as I'm mainly a defender, so it was nice to get one.

My coach said that i should make more chances for goal, so in a game where we were expected to win, we lose 1-0. However, that was after i had given our striker a 1-on-1 with the goalie. He missed, but i did that in my first ever season of soccer.
Also my second ever goal, we were winning 13-0 at the time, but if we wanted to go into third, we had to win 14-0. In the last minute, i step around two defenders and side foot it into the net from the edge of the 18 yard box. I got M-O-T-M, just for that.

(im a goalie) shot from edge of the area with full power, going post and in and i made a full stretch save- and it kept us in the game (we were 2-0 down and came back to win 4-3), also it was a huge local derby!

I tend to forget anything about games in the past, especially the recent past since I play so often, but I remember clearly that in the 8th grade, must have been in 1988 or so, I scored from the kickoff by taking a huge whack at it, and it just sailed and sailed, and went in above the keeper's hands (he was too short to get to it).
Recently the only really great moments I can think of were a nice 25 yard cannon on the run that swerved into the top corner, within the first 20 seconds of the first half. And just a week ago we played one of our top rival teams, and no one could get non-point blank shots past their keeper, who was having a stellar game. I managed to finally work my way around my defender with the ball, and powered a low drive in from about 10 yards (indoor sized goals, so 10 yards is not as easy as it sounds) past the keeper and into the bottom corner. Normally I don't celebrate goals very actively, but this one got a big jump and fist pump, accompanied with a "YES!" from me. We ended up tying the game 3-3, with their tying goal coming at the very last possible second. Disappointing as far as standings go, but both teams had a ton of fun, and we can't wait till next we meet.

my team and i were in a tounament to get in the top league of the state,
we made it to the finals,
during teh game, we scored then they scored.
with six minutes left, our outside half throws the ballin,
i the gather it, do an elastico and nutmeg the defender and shoot.....
the ball goes into the upper v with velocity, we go on to win the game and compete in the highest league in the state later that season.

No sh!t. My best soccer moments were kind of bittersweet. I was 10 at the time and we were playing in this tournament with all the catholic schools in the diocese (portsmouth). Because our team was so big, we ended up splitting the team in half, with one "A" team and another "B" team. I was on the B team. The first team ended up reaching the quarterfinals before losing to some team. My team ended up both beating this team and another team before reaching the finals. we ended up facing this"school" from Newsbury. the only thing was it wasn't a catholic school, it was basically an all star team from Newsbury. We ended up losing, but we got 2nd place and we ended up advancing further than the "A" team.
the other moment that sticks in my mind was when I scored my first and only goal for the entireseason (I used to play right back) My coach for some strange reason subbed me in at right midfield. We were losing and I remember praying, asking God if someone anyone could just score. I ended up making a diagnol run, took one touch before shooting the ball from three yards into the top of the net. It wasn't the prettiest goal in the world(it was from three yards out and I almost missed :D) but it was a goal nonethless. the goal tied the game, only for us to end up losing the game in extra time. Just my luck. :D

This is easy for me, since I never played as a boy (not a lot of soccer in rural Nebraska in the Seventies), didn't discover the game as a spectator until just a few years ago, and just finally started playing on an over-30 league a couple of months ago. Man, do I suck--but last week I nailed a full-volley with the inside of my foot from about thirty feet out (this is indoor, BTW), for my second goal EVER (my first was a garbage goal a few weeks back). For just a moment, I got a taste of what it must be like for people who grew up playing the sport.

I'm old :)
I played AYSO in it's infant days along with Sigi of coaching fame here in LA where it started.. I had to travel about 15 miles to play as there were so few teams and locations then..
My first game I scored 3 goals in the first half.. Ended up being the final score.. I was in heaven but the next week we played a team of mostly hispanic players (back then they were killing us newbies) and we lost something like 11-0 and most of my team quit! :o

haha once you get a feel for the game you'll score some great goals...then you'll be flying!

winning the U17's 1st division league title last year. my team came from 5th place with 8 games to go to finish joint top of the table with a team that i have more hate for than i could ever imagine. we played them in a league play-off (winner wins the league) we won 1-0 it was an immense feeling!
best and most funny individual moment was scoring from around 60 yards out (behind the half way line) it was such a wet day the pitch was almost water logged and my team were winning with around 5mins to go to. i launched the ball forward and the goalie came out 2 take it but as it hit the ground around the 18 yard box it slide off the surface and flew over his head post and in, i must have done about 10 different celebrations while dieing with laughter, poor keeper.

umm...
scoring from half field( the field was small but I smacked the crap out of the bal and knocked the keeper back into the net)
winning various tournaments
beating a team that beat us the year before 4-0
picking up my first red card(best tackle i ever pulled)
oh and signing the ball after scoring from outside the 18 off a free kick (hehe the keeper and ref didnt like that one much)

It wasn't my best moment, but definitely the most memorable. The game was scoreless with about 20 minutes left in the game. Our forward tried to toe poke a slow rolling back pass to the keeper(it was legal then). The keeper took offense to this and as our forward was running back down the field, hurled the ball at the forwards head. This would have started a brawl if the linesman hadn't stepped in front of our our midfielders who were charging to the keeper. The keeper is ejected and things seem to calm down.
About five minutes later a ball is sent in high into the box with our keeper and their forward going for it. The keeper grabs the ball but the forward lands on top of him and will not get up. So the keeper does the only logical thing to do in such a situation, he starts punching the kid’s head into the ground! As the sweeper, I am only a few paces away, when the ref comes flying in whistle blaring. He reaches into his pocket but only pulls out a yellow, and called a PK. Why not a red I don't know. At this level a yellow card meant a player had to be subbed out. Well our backup keeper was absolute crap, so I get handed the keepers jersey and gloves. To take the PK! I had never played in the goal in my life.
At this point the varsity keeper who went on to play in the A-League, walked behind the goal and told me to move a couple of steps to the right. The ref finally gets everyone under control and sets the ball down for the PK. The guy kicks the ball right at me, then gets in my face. I shove the ball in his chest and tell him “Nice shot”. The ref cards him. We go on to score 2 goals to win and I don’t face another shot the rest of the game.
