All the first leg matches are complete in the various playoffs, and in the case of the Conference, the playoffs are done, so here's a quick run down. Note that there is no "away goal" advantage in the playoffs, so if any tie is even at the end of the 2nd leg, they go into extra time and penalties, if needed.
Division 1
Crystal Palace 3-2 Sunderland
Ipswich 1-0 West Ham
Return Leg:
May 17- Crystal Palace @ Sunderland
May 18- Ipswich @ West Ham
Division 2
Hartlepool 1-1 Bristol City
Swindon 0-1 Brighton
May 19- Hartlepool @ Bristol City
May 20- Swindon @ Brighton
Division 3
Lincoln 1-2 Huddersfield
Northampton 0-2 Mansfield
May 19- Lincoln @ Huddersfield
May 20- Northampton @ Mansfield
Conference play-off final:
Aldershot 1-1 Shrewsbury
Shootout- Shrewsbury wins 3-0
Note too, that this year, the Third Division playoff final will close out championship weekend, as opposed to the First Division match. Since the Euro 2004 call-up period begins at midnight, May 29, the decision was made to hold the Division 1 final first, as there was more of a chance that there would be club/country disputes in that match, as opposed to the Division 3 final. So:
Division 1 final- May 29
Division 2 final- May 30
Division 3 final- May 31, all matches at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
