I got run over 0-6. I'd hire more coaches to train, but I need to build up my club's bank account first. I need to get back in the 6 digit range.

I lost 3-4 in a match that would have pretty much wrapped up auto promotion for me. Now i'll probably have to qualify... maybe thats not so bad.
I probably should have won this match, but I have a few key players that are in ************ form. MOTS wasn't enough to beat em. Sigh. At least my TS is only irritated, hopefully it will be back to calm or content or whatever by next weekend. I need to score lots of goals from now on to ensure that my goal differential is better than the 2nd place team who is tied on points.
We both are set to win out our schedules because neither of us play a team that has put up better than a wretched midfield all season.

wish me luck.

Won 6-0 away. My league leading scorer returned from injury and scored a hattrick. My new Spanish striker plopped in two of his own. Very nice.

Hmmm I tried to just edit this in to my above post but it said you can only edit within 15 minutes or something (why??) so here are the standings:
1. Big Daddys 11 60 - 13 33
2. Real Sociedad 0052 11 38 - 18 27
3. Albito FC 11 30 - 29 18
4. Bay County Blues 11 29 - 36 16
5. FC Clydesdales 11 29 - 23 15
6. Norge Vikings 11 26 - 28 13
7. Madison Maulers 11 12 - 41 6
8. AngerManagement 11 7 - 43 3
I play #8 at home next week, then away at #7, then home vs #2 to close the season. I am still gunning for 4th place and I think I have a shot. FC Clydesdale still has to play the #1 and #2 teams in the final weeks (he also gets #7 though :/) and Bay County has to play all of the top 3 teams to finish his season! :D
This means I should finish with 19 points, FC with 18, and Bay County with 16, putting me in 4th!
WOOOO this is the greatest victory in the (short) history of my franchise. :D

I managed to draw 2-2 at home against my series #1 Paranoia.
He is the one that deliberately stayed down last season. It's the first time I have ever got a point off him.
He pulled a 95 on hatstats and I got a 78.
I lost my best defender due to injury and that probably caused one of his goals. He is only gone for one week though :)
Other teams failed to win when they should have so it leaves me in a secure third place with #2 visiting me next week. He plays #1 the week after.
I have an excellent chance of finishing second now and I am going for it!

Just lost a starting midfielder for 7 weeks. Luckily i think I'm still assured of advancement.

congrats on the tie mark.
My match was a 2-0 win for me over the 6th place team, no real surprise for me in that, my league leading scorer had one, and pushed himself 6 goals up with four games to play. The win tonight also assured me of at least a qualifier to stay up another season. The big news of the night, was the number 2 team losing to the number 5 team at home, which put me back up into second. I have the number 7 team away next week, but I should win that, right now I should hopefully be able to win out and take second. I am probably going to MOTS my second to last game, b/c the team I play the last week is a newer team.
Here are my standings right now
1. MoKan Mighty Bastar 11 45 - 7 30
2. Raytown Rangers 82 11 34 - 23 21
3. Island Jazz 11 35 - 20 19
4. Adrenaline Rush 11 28 - 26 19
5. Timbuktu Rockets 11 26 - 23 17
6. Ramblin' Wreck 11 13 - 32 10
7. Red Mambas 11 14 - 33 8
8. guacaranchavez 11 8 - 39 4
My final three games are against 7 away, 5 at home, and 8 away
Oh I almost forgot...I pulled an INADEQUATE midfield, with one of my starters out, that's the first time I pull it, and I don't even have my best players in:)

congrats on the tie mark.
Thanks!
Here is my series standings:
1. Paranoia 11 32 - 9 27
2. Tazmaniacs 11 25 - 12 18
3. Scouser Tommies FC 11 25 - 18 18
4. Atoms 11 20 - 15 17
5. Salmon For All 11 14 - 13 14
6. Red Herrings 11 24 - 24 13
7. Selma Sumorats 11 15 - 29 12
8. De Vette Nijlpaarde 11 6 - 41 2
I play #2 Tazmaniacs next week at home. As you can see we are level on points at the moment.
I made more than $350,000 with my 55,000 sell out last weekend against Paranoia and I expect the same type of crowd this Sunday.

Take a look at division V in Hatstats USA. The team at the top of the NSI table was my opponent last night.
(If I'd known they'd pop an outstanding midfield and a 99 rating, I would have PICed, pressed, and played my formation straight-up. Deluded in thinking I could either win the midfield or at least keep it close, I played normal and with my 3rd-best IM as a winger towards the middle.)

I defeated 8th placed Club Horsemen last night, 2-0. The result is a bit misleading since I managed to flub 4 scoring chances in the 2nd half. I sure could've used those extra goals.
With the win I move to 7-2-2 on the season, and I've basically clinched 4th place or better. In fact, should I catch a lucky break here or there, I might even win the whole damn thing......or lose on goal difference. Losing 7-0 in Week 2 might come back to haunt me.
My last 3 matches:
at Sporting Loxahatchee (I lost 2-1 in Week 3)
vs Munchers (I lost 7-0 in Week 2)
at TiMeWaR (we tied 1-1 in Week 1)
Current standings:
1. Siena AC 11 32 - 12 25
2. Panther City FC 11 27 - 15 23
3. Street Walkers 11 27 - 19 19
4. TiMeWaR 11 29 - 19 17
5. Munchers 11 20 - 24 15
6. Sporting Loxahatche 11 17 - 26 13
7. crunchers 11 18 - 28 13
8. Club Horsemen 11 6 - 33 2

One thing I realized about my team when I checked the hatstats for my match this week, my team had 5 players on the "all-series" team this week, and another as a back up. Either my form is peaking at the right time, or the rest of my series form sucks right now.

I went visiting the Hattrick Cup rank site. Looking to see the series I would end up in if the season ended today. I'm terrified of this series. I found a formidable and excellent midfield. It is v.171.
Deuteriumoxide: Your series to play into would be V.156. The midfields seem about average for V: weak to inadequate. The defense on the other would make a scoring trainer either scream or drool. I saw a world class and a supernatural.

I lost to the 4th place team 7-1. It was at home. However, I was excited to score my first goal in over a month.

I just checked out that division on hattrick, that is insane, the one and two teams played this week, here are the stats for both teams
Red Army Wisconsin
Midfield: formidable
Right Side Defence: excellent
Central Defence: solid
Left Side Defence: solid
Right Side Attack: inadequate
Central Attack: formidable
Left Side Attack: formidable
Glass Jars
Midfield: excellent
Right Side Defence: outstanding
Central Defence: excellent
Left Side Defence: excellent
Right Side Attack: outstanding
Central Attack: solid
Left Side Attack: formidable
I mean that is insane for a V team, let's hope you don't get in that one Chris, it could be a short stint up in Div V if you do.

Dude, if you want insane, check out the buzzsaw I ran into this week.
I'd have trouble with Red Army Wisconsin, but I think I could handle Glass Jars.
Anyway, it's not the #1 and #2 teams you need to worry about, it's the 4th through 6th place (roughly).

I saw the ratings for flashotcite.
Team Attitude: (Hidden)
Tactic: Normal
Tactic skill: (Unlimited)
Midfield: outstanding
Right Side Defence: titanic
Central Defence: supernatural
Left Side Defence: titanic
Right Side Attack: excellent
Central Attack: formidable
Left Side Attack: excellent
That is downright evil. That is a V team. NFW. Craig, here is to hoping they promote up this season.
And yeah, I need to worry about the 4-6 teams, but I like looking at the ratings for the #1 and #2, just to compare. When I know for certain where I am heading, I'll scout the whole series.
